We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrianna Munoz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrianna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As a nurse of 10 years and experienced leader, I saw the same problems popping up over and over again. And that problem is lack of strategy and communicating the strategy. Many times processes are put in place but not evaluated, and leaders also aren’t supported or given resources to help the team be successful!

I started my coaching and consulting business, Ogden Peak, because after interviewing peers and fellow women leaders in STEM for the past several years, I realized I wasn’t alone in feeling a bit lost when it came time to step into new roles.

My coaching brings over 7 years of coaching, mentorship, and leadership experience into each client interaction to help women leaders in STEM maximize their professional impact while maintaining work-life balance. I am a firm believer that women can impact big change without burning out.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
There are a lot of executive coaches, what sets Ogden Peak apart is the dedication to Women Leaders in STEM. Adrianna, the founder, brings years of her own leadership, coaching, project management, and mentorship experience into each client relationship to help them reach their own goals.

Lifelong learning and excellence are core values for Ogden Peak, and our goal is to help as many women leaders as possible so STEM is a more welcoming space for women.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Starting out with breakfast, of course! Toast in Littleton is always good or Grande Station in Littleton, followed up with (more) coffee from Atlas.

Local hike: South Valley Park or Chief Moutain

Lunch: Mac Nation in Indian Hills on the way home

Dinner: Smokin Fins in Littleton is great, or of course Cuba Cuba in Denver or Castle Rock

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to shout out my wonderful husband. He has been so incredibly supportive of me throughout the duration of our relationship. He supported me as I obtained my masters degree while working full time, earning further certifications in leadership, strategy, and coaching, and believed in my big ideas and the day to day work that has gone into making them happen.
