Meet Ema Vyhlidal | Licensed Nail Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ema Vyhlidal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ema, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my private nail studio to address the lack of salons in my community that prioritize natural nail health. Recognizing that many places focus more on aesthetics than on client well-being, I dedicated time to researching high-quality, low-chemical products that promote nail health. My goal is to create a space where clients feel cared for and educated about their nail care, fostering long-term relationships while helping them achieve beautiful, healthy nails.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business stands out due to my deep dedication to client care and natural nail health. I’m incredibly proud to have taken the leap to start my own studio, and I’m excited about the growth ahead. Getting here required a lot of planning, hard work, and patience as I learned the ins and outs of running a business. While the transition was challenging, moving from just focusing on beauty to also managing social media, finances, and operations, the support I received made it all worth it. This journey has been the most fulfilling experience, teaching me valuable lessons about resilience and adaptability. I want the world to know that my brand is built on genuine care for my clients and a commitment to promoting healthy, beautiful nails.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d definitely take them to explore my favorite spots in Parker. We’d kick off our trip at Westmain Taproom and Grill, my go-to restaurant for delicious food and great vibes. After that, we could relax at O’Brian Park, which is beautiful and perfect for a leisurely stroll.
For some outdoor adventures, I’d take them to Hess Incline or Cherry Creek State Park to enjoy hiking and the stunning scenery. If we felt like venturing a bit further, I’d definitely want to show them Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak, the views are incredible and really showcase the uniqueness of Colorado. It would be a perfect mix of good food, nature, and the vibrant local culture!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my parents, who not only encouraged me to pursue a career in beauty but have also been unwavering supporters of my business. Their belief in me has been invaluable. I also want to recognize my clients; their trust in me with their hands and feet mean everything. Without them, none of this would be possible, and I’m truly grateful for their support.
