We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridget Richardson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bridget, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thoughts we’re simply, ‘there’s got to be more to life than this!’
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I draw and make things that keep my brain distracted from the messy bits of life. I love using illustration to make narratives that are as dumb or profound as I want! It’s trite but there’s definitely satisfaction in finding something that shakes your bones and then diving headfirst into it. If everyone could find a hobby that makes them feel delight, I feel there’s a greater chance we could all be masters of spreading that joy.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
EAT: Chef King in Louisville SMOKE: Terrapin Longmont VISIT: Carter Lake HANG OUT: My House 🙂
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
