Meet Annalise Kurowski | Real Estate Agent

We had the good fortune of connecting with Annalise Kurowski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Annalise, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always beat to my own drum. I knew even during college that I wouldn’t survive a overly structured environment. Also, I knew I wouldn’t be the best employee. I started my first business in personal training when COVID took off and everyone went virtual. I fell in love with being able to put my energy into something and create a result I was proud of. I have always felt that I work harder, because I’m working for myself and my future.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have built my business off of organic relationships, online relationships, and constant follow up. It has NEVER been easy, I can tell you that. I struggled early on with not knowing what advice to take and where to put my energy. I learned that if I wanted a long lasting career and keeping my passion flowing strong that I needed to create a business that could sustain itself, because I didn’t feel like I was working. I have always loved posting on social media, creating content and having fun with friends and that’s exactly how I’ve built my business! I started a meet up group that has grown to over 1,000 members where all we do is make friends. The group is literally called “Making Friends As Adults Is Hard”. I realized that I wanted to work with people I enjoyed being around and this was a great way to meet new people, make friends, and become a real estate resource along the way.
I have learned that you have to be persistent enough to keep consistent at something, but wise enough to let it go if it’s not working for you. I tried many tasks for lead generation that other agents said worked for them that I realized would never work for me and found tasks that did instead!
I want the world to know that my brand is not to reinvent the already invented, but reinvent a way of doing something that’s always been done. I want to create a seamless and FUN home buying and selling process while becoming a life long support for all real estate needs along the way. I know real estate is just the beginning for me and I’m excited to see where I will go from here!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend wasn’t from this area and was visiting I would take her to the Red Rocks trail to walk and see the views before a Red Rocks show to start. I would take her to meet all the friends that I have met at Prost Brewing for Board Games and trivia night at Westminster Brewing during the week. We both don’t drink so we would walk downtown Denver to find the best mocktail in town. We love ramen and sushi so we would absolutely hit up Ooka in Broomfield and Sasuki Ramen in Arvada. One night I would take her to downtown Louisville for some Sweet Cow and take 93 to Boulder to see the sights before going shopping on Pearl Street!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would not be here without my best friend and partner, Kyle. He has seen me and supported me through every high and low that building your own business can bring. He himself has been building his own business at the same time, but never fails to listen and encourage me along my way as well. I truly believe I wouldn’t be as successful as I am today without his endless love and support.
