We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordyn G and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordyn, what’s your definition for success?
I define success by the level of happiness and fulfillment I experience in life. To me, happiness has always been a top priority, serving as a guiding principle in both my personal and professional decisions. If I find that what I am doing no longer brings me joy or a sense of purpose, I take that as a clear indication that change is necessary. That change may be small, such as adjusting my daily habits, or more significant, like shifting career paths or re-evaluating my long-term goals. Regardless of the scale, I am committed to making choices that align with my well-being and overall happiness. At the end of the day, I believe true success is not measured solely by external achievements but by the ability to live a life that is both meaningful and fulfilling.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Although I have a full-time job, I do not consider it my career. My primary focus is social media, a path that I never initially intended to pursue. In my younger years, I witnessed the toxicity that often existed in online interactions and was disheartened by the way people treated strangers from behind a screen. However, as I grew older, I became motivated to engage with social media in a meaningful way—to be a positive force in a space that influences so many lives.

I never view what I do as “easy” because what comes naturally to one person may be a challenge for another. Setting the expectation that something should be effortless can be discouraging to those who are striving to improve, and I believe in acknowledging the challenges that come with any pursuit. One of the biggest obstacles I have had to overcome since starting my journey in social media is my own insecurities. At the beginning, I struggled with self-image and felt uncomfortable posting pictures of myself. However, I came to realize that these feelings are common and that allowing them to hold me back would only limit my potential. Instead, I made the conscious decision to shift my mindset, and as a result, my confidence and self-worth grew significantly.

As a woman, one of the values I hold most dear is the importance of being confident in your own skin. I believe that self-acceptance should take precedence over the pressure to change simply due to insecurity. My goal is to continue inspiring others to embrace themselves fully, knowing that true confidence comes from within. Not from the number of followers or likes one has.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Although I live in the city, I prefer to spend most of my time outside of it. While some people thrive in the hustle and bustle, I find peace and fulfillment in quieter, more natural surroundings. My friends share the same appreciation for the outdoors, so when we spend time together, we almost always choose to escape the city. More often than not, we pack a lunch and head up to the mountains to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature.

Personally, I like to go with the flow, so I rarely have a set destination in mind until I’m already on the road. However, if a friend were visiting for an entire week, I would make it a priority to take them to a different location each day from my top 10 list. My goal would be to ensure they experience the true beauty Colorado has to offer beyond the city limits, showcasing the landscapes and hidden gems that make this state so special.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My son has always been my greatest motivation, inspiring me to continuously strive toward becoming the best version of myself. I want to set an example for him, demonstrating that true confidence and strength come from within. These qualities cannot be given by others—they must be cultivated through self-belief, perseverance, and resilience. By embodying these values, I hope to instill in him the understanding that he has the power to shape his own path and overcome any challenges he may face.
