We had the good fortune of connecting with Leslie Jorgensen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leslie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
A few things, really. 1. Manifesting success by thinking about what I want and how wonderful it will feel to have it. That’s the Art of allowing. 2. Good ol’ fashioned discipline. Success doesn’t happen overnight. You really have to give yourself the grace to start where you’re at and keep working. You build a business and a brand over time. I’ve faithfully built an online following and, over several years, it has brought new opportunities. 3. Saying Yes to those new opportunities – especially the ones that stretch me, like when I created my first mural.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I make colorful, contemporary paintings about my explorations and adventures in the Rocky Mountains. I love to use color as an emotional component in my paintings which sets my landscapes apart.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve been fortunate to have so many wonderful teachers and mentors. My husband Ron has been a tremendous support. My family encourages me and celebrates my successes. My friend and mentor Ken Elliott reminds me often to stay spiritually in line with what I want in life. I keep his book Manifesting 1-2-3 on my bookshelf.
