Hi Metamorphaces, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Our team loves fluttering by and bringing color to the community—literally and figuratively! As a family business, we’re passionate about adding joy and creativity to every event we’re part of. Whether it’s face painting, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, hair tinsel, exciting character visits or any of our other services, we bring magic to every occasion!

Parents love that we keep the little ones entertained as they can relax a little and enjoy the fun! We bring people together and create unforgettable moments.

We’re so proud to be part of a world full of color, and it’s our mission to bring vibrant energy to all the amazing communities we serve!

Hi, we’re Metamorphaces!

Meet the team: Liz (mom), Liz Isley, Aislyn, Ean, and Kyan! If anyone is looking to add fun, color, and LOTS of glitter to their events, we are their go to! We are a family business of insured face painters and entertainers with many years of experience! Beyond face painting, we offer a wide range of entertainment services, including balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, airbrush tattoos, festival glitter, hair tinsel and feathers, character visits, and so much more! Our goal is to bring creativity and joy to every event we attend. We are committed to quality and safety in every service we provide. Our paints are FDA-approved, hypoallergenic, and safe for all skin types. As professional, insured artists, we prioritize offering a secure and enjoyable experience for every guest.

In addition to the variety of characters we offer for visits, we’re thrilled to have our very own butterfly mascot, Morphay! She has been a vibrant addition to our events. Everyone loves watching her gracefully flutter around with her colorful wings, spreading joy wherever she goes.

Butterflies and dragonflies have always been meaningful symbols to us. Since the girls were little, we have lovingly called one butterfly and the other dragonfly—two creatures that beautifully embody the process of metamorphosis. This connection inspired our business name, as each face we paint undergoes its own metamorphic transformation into something magical and loved.

Our business name came together in 2016 and was finally registered in July of 2022. The name “Metamorphaces” carries even more layers of meaning. Within it lies the word *amor*, which means love in Spanish, a reflection of the care and passion we pour into our work. We kept the “ph” from “metamorphosis” and paired it with “aces” to resemble “faces,” emphasizing the transformations we create. Every time we paint, we create a unique metamorphosis, transforming faces into bright smiles or bringing favorite characters and designs to life. It’s heartwarming to watch each child embody the character we’ve painted on their face as soon as they catch their reflection in the mirror. This magical transformation extends to our balloon twisting, adding even more joy and creativity to the experience! We cherish the wonderful moments we share while doing what we love. July 2025 marks our third anniversary in business!

Together, we flutter through life, inspired by the amazing people who support us along the way. This is our PASSION , our full time job, and simply the best decision we have made together. Thank you for fluttering with us! 🦋

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend were to visit, we’d take them to admire the beautiful mountain scenery in Colorado. When it comes to fun outings, we’d definitely head to a game at the Vibes Baseball Stadium, it’s always a fantastic experience with friendly people and great energy. We’ve also had the pleasure of meeting the amazing Sahhar Family, who annually host the Maker Minds Market for young entrepreneurs. Their incredible support and kindness have meant so much to us. Kyan and Ean have been actively involved in these markets, benefiting from the opportunity to grow their entrepreneurial mindset with their balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, and more. If we had a friend visiting, we’d absolutely take them to enjoy one of these inspiring markets.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We are very grateful and want to recognize the community and families who have supported us since the very beginning of the metamorphosis of our business. Their unwavering support, especially through word-of-mouth recommendations, have been significant in our growth, and we are deeply thankful for all the ways they’ve contributed to our journey.
