Meet Casey Dockstader Creator | Creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Dockstader Creator and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Casey Dockstader, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
If I don’t do it now then I will never. My process is the same for pretty much anything I do in life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The stuff i make is really just a collection of what has been on my mind that week. So that means i’m pretty much just harshing out the subjects that seem too big or beautiful to say out loud or write down. Pulling influences from the city, nature, tattoos and esoteric philosophy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So, my homie gets in late on a Friday night and i took the weekend off from working at the bar. Saturday we wake up early and take the dogs out around cheeseman park. Very nice in the mornings long shadow time. We then go down to Creama in Rino to get our coffee. The homie wants to get tattooed after so we hit Top Mark tattoo up the block but @davelurks is busy. So we travel over to Colfax and hit Lifetime tattoo. Lifetime will always be able to help out. At night we go hit up Twan Burger located in Finn’s Manor. We stay at Finn’s all night because @dommytumont is the resident dj on Saturdays. Finn’s has the best bar staff in all of Denver.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Denver is different for me compared to other cities I’ve lived. I’ve felt so much curiosity, support and inspiration from the block I frequent and the neighborhood I stay in. The places them selves. Not to mention the people as well.
