Meet Jessica Bowman | Sound Healing Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Bowman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind Skyy’s Frequency was rooted in mental health. For years, I’ve been on a personal journey to understand how to truly experience peace in my life and it all began with my mental space. Despite reading extensively, researching mental health, and attending therapy sessions, I still couldn’t find the sense of clarity and peace I was searching for. That changed when I discovered sound therapy. Through multiple sessions and continued research, sound therapy brought me a deep sense of clarity, grounding, understanding, and peace. It was such a transformative experience that I felt called to share it with others offering it as a service so that more people can experience the same healing and peace.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a firm believer in finding your purpose in life, and I truly believe that my work in sound therapy is part of God’s plan for me. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. I’ve worked in healthcare for years, but I never fully agreed with how the system operates that’s why I chose not to further my education in that field.
Now, I’m still working while building Skyy’s Frequency, and one of the biggest challenges I face is balancing the corporate world with working for myself. But I remind myself daily that great things take time to build, and I’m learning to be patient during this transition into full-time entrepreneurship.
What sets Skyy’s Frequency apart is the intention behind it this is more than just a business. It’s a healing space built on love, purpose, and the desire to bring peace into people’s lives. The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is that when you stop trying to control every outcome, life will naturally guide you to where you’re meant to be. If you create a clear, safe space in your mind, your decisions will come from a place of peace and alignment.
Through Skyy’s Frequency, I aim to offer that same sense of peace to others in this chaotic world. I specialize in helping people who are struggling with mental health and emotional imbalance, using holistic healing through sound therapy. Sound therapy is still underrated, but as long as I have a voice and the ability to use my instruments, I will continue to educate and advocate for its benefits with our mind, body, and soul.
I’m proud of this journey, and I’m excited to continue growing both personally and professionally. I want the world to know that Skyy’s Frequency was created with heart and purpose and I’m here to serve those who need healing in the most peaceful way possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit me in Denver, I’d keep the week peaceful and lowkey. I’m all about the views and love watching the sky, so we’d catch a sunset at Red Rocks or head up to Lookout Mountain just to sit, talk, and take in the scenery. One night, we’d have dinner at a rooftop spot downtown where you take the elevator to the top it’s got amazing views over downtown and a whole vibe that feels elevated but chill.
We’d definitely grab some good Mexican food maybe La Loma or a local hidden gem and on a more laid-back night, we’d slide through 4Play on a chill night to have a drink, vibe out, and just enjoy ourselves. I’d also give them a sound bowl session to help them reset and experience the peace I’ve found through sound therapy.Nothing too crazy, just a week of good energy, views, and real connection.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Through this journey of sound healing, the love and encouragement have come from my 13-year-old daughter, Skyy. My business is named after her because, in my eyes, her personality embodies happiness, love, and peace exactly what my business is all about.
My father also played a big role in why I started this business. Funny enough, I actually discovered sound therapy through TikTok. At the time, I was only playing sound bowls. When my dad asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told him he didn’t have to get me anything, especially since I don’t celebrate holidays. But if he chose to, I said I’d love either a camera or a set of sound bowls. He decided to gift me the sound bowls and that gift led me down the path to sound therapy.
My dear friend Chermetra Keys, known as The Female Shoota, has always supported me and my many ideas. I introduced her to sound therapy, and now I work with her and her kids once a week. She was open, consistent, and willing to try something new. For that, I’ll always be grateful. She and her children are now in a better space a healthier state of mind and that means everything to me.
