We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan VanDoorninck and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bryan, what principle do you value most?
Know thyself. When you take the time to discover who you are, what’s important to you, and why-life becomes more colorful.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At BVADO Coaching we believe the journey of every youth soccer player is unique. We build and strengthen self awareness in youth through soccer. We bring soccer to life. I’m excited about helping youth discover themselves and the world through their passion for soccer. I’ve gotten to where I am today business wise by embracing the following motto: Some will, some won’t, so what. Some people will like what I do, some people won’t like what I do, so what. Clearly defining my vision has helped me overcome challenges. Everything I do is channeled through my vision. I’ve learned that business is like a soccer team. You need to practice so that you can compete. You are only as good as your teammate next to you. You win together and you lose together. What I want the world to know about me and my brand and my story is that learning never stops: explore, create, imagine
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would kick off with a breakfast burrito from Santiago’s…The rest is an adventure. The most fun, interesting, exciting people, places or things to check out are those that happen organically. The journey is the destination!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m thankful and grateful for my family, friends, and community that have helped cultivate my growth and development. I attribute much of my success to experiential learning experiences that have gifted me the opportunity to live on three continents and to see the world from different points of view. I learn something from everyone.
