Hi Jackie Rose, what do you attribute your success to?
Community is the most important factor behind my success!!! I couldn’t do what I do without my loving and supportive community! I handcraft organic solventless hemp products and I infuse them with Reiki. Reiki is a healing energy. I offer Reiki healing sessions as well as training and certification. Every person or pet I help with hemp or Reiki is part of my beloved community… near or far we are in this beautiful life TOGETHER! Colorado Medicine Woman is here to bring healing love and light to the people!

What should our readers know about your business?
Colorado Medicine Woman is my offering to my community. I started this company with a strong desire to help people and help the environment. I am a cannabis advocate and cultivator. I am super passionate about teaching people about their Endocannabinoid system and the history of hemp. Did you know our ancestors grew hemp before they cultivated any other crop? They used hemp for food, medicine, and shelter! We have evolved with hemp! 80 years of cannabis prohibition has left our people sadly misinformed and in danger of cannabinoid deficiencies. I worked in the regulated cannabis industry in the Denver area for six years. I worked for quite a few companies in that time and couldn’t find a company that was in line with my values as an environmentalist and organic gardener. I admittedly hit a few glass ceilings too. I was often the only woman in the garden. I suffered sexual harassment, verbal assault, and sickness from moldy work conditions. I refused to stick around toxic environments. I learned to voice my truth and stop the abuse or at least attempt to. Frustrated, sad, and disillusioned I went back to the floral industry. An industry I had initially left because of the blatant disregard for environmental concerns… many flower growers use an obscene amount of pesticides and fungicides! January 1, 2019 I filed for a business license…. Now my time and energy go towards my vision of safe, effective and environmentally friendly cannabis products! My vision of natural healing with Reiki and plant medicines! My vision of helping raise the vibration of the planet! I handcraft organic solventless hemp products for people and pets. I create hemp extracts using age old methods of infusing organic hemp flowers in organic oils at low temperatures. I do not use any chemicals or heavy machinery! I infuse all my products with Reiki. Reiki is a healing force that can help us heal our bodies, minds, and spirits! I offer Reiki healing to people and pets in-person and at a distance. I offer Reiki attunements, classes and certification. I offer spiritual coaching in-person and virtually. I am most excited about connecting people with Great Spirit… which is a natural response to Reiki treatments. Simply using my organic hemp products has an added spiritual benefit as I have infused them with Reiki and I offer my medicine to all the goddesses of healing and to Great Spirit with prayers to heal and raise vibrations! I love helping people overcome physical and emotional pain, addiction, anxiety, depression, and many other ailments using plant medicines and Reiki healing. I am able to offer all this because I have worked very hard and experimented a great deal to understand cannabis and the art of Reiki. We are all hardwired to receive cannabinoids and healing energies such as Reiki! I have made it my personal mission to help as many people and animals as I can while I can! My journey was not an easy one. But it has helped me become a compassionate healer. I was once very wounded. I lived through some great upheavals, trauma, and abuse. Post partum depression after my second child sent me on a healing path. I explored talk therapy, emotional freedom technique, transformational breathwork, yoga, psilocybin, cannabis, dance, music, meditation, mantras, spiritual discipline, MAP, Reiki, and Shamanic healing. Many years, blessings, lessons, trials and tribulations later… here I am. Deeply rooted in love with a fierce desire to assist others find freedom. I want the world to know that I am here to offer safe and effective hemp products, I am here to offer Reiki healing, training and certification. I am here to offer spiritual coaching. I have a philanthropy program offering discounts to those who need my services and lack financial means. I am here for my community!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to Glennwood Springs to soak in the hot tub and get massages. We would stay in a cabin near the Colorado river. We would go hiking to see Hanging Lake. We would head back to Denver for a day at the Botanic Gardens and lunch at Govinda’s. We would dance at Rhythm Sanctuary.
