We had the good fortune of connecting with Joyce Fox and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joyce, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
As a kid I loved two things, animals and drawing. When I was a teenager I had my mind set on being a veterinarian but after studying in that path for a while I realized being in medicine was not really my passion. After that, I focused on my second skillo and that was drawing so I applied for architecture school and that was the best thing for me. Found my creative vain and that opened all sorts of paths into the field of the arts. Now I am an architect, designer and painter

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a combination of all the things I love to do. From designing to painting and everything in between. The partnerships developed with clients, suppliers, builders, realtors keeps the job a constantly feeling fresh.
I could say “never a dull moment “ !! The company thrives on referrals only so the relationships are of the upmost importance. What I’ve learned is that construction is a complicated field full of challenges and complications but your ability to deal with it and own it is what will keep you going.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I just love Denver – union station
– walk on the river
– garden of the gods
– hike in the mountains
– Breckinridge
– Boulder

I’m a vegetarian so I’d show them what Denver has to offer

I want to shoutout to all my clients who allowed me to work on making their homes and making an idea or concept a reality . Being a part of this process is a thrill.
