We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Lovato and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hannah, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I have built my business upon these key principles. 1. Have integrity 2. Do your best always 3. Be consistent 4. Find passion in your work 5. Love what you do 6. Be organized 7. Prioritize and Set Goals
8. Family then Career

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have been a licensed esthetician 4 years and professional HMUA for 10 years. I am very passionate about helping women look and feel their best. The confidence and excitement brings me
pure joy. My number one priority is to put my clients needs and wants first, listen to them and to always have their best interest in front of me. I am so proud that I became a female hispanic business owner at the age of 20 years old. I am excited for the future and what it brings. The relationships I will make, friends I will meet and personal growth I will gain. I worked very hard and made a lot of sacrifices to become successful and grow my small business. I worked early mornings, late nights and weekends. I did the work it took to get my name out there and I said yes to all opportunities. It hasn’t been easy and at times you hit rock walls, have tough clients or are beyond exhausted. That’s ok! The key is to never give up or lose your “WHY” or passion. I have overcome challenges from big to small on a daily basis. Prayer, walks and rest have help me to be grounded and find my purpose again even when it’s hard. I have learned that I am capable of anything I set my mind to, I can be successful, my gender doesn’t defined me and neither does my race. I’m here to love all I work with and treat them as I would want to be treated. I carry this verse with me throughout my life and my business “Do unto to others as you would have them do to you”. I want the world to know that I am really smart, funny, knowledgeable, loving, caring, motivated, passionate and happy. Being a woman, born in New Mexico to a Hispanic Dad and Mexican Mom there was always the assumption that I would only be a mom, never go to school and much less have a career or business. The funny thing is, I went to an elite school, got good grades and am a quick learner. I’m becoming a well respected Esthetician and HMUA throughout the US. I will always strive to be a good human being, the best mom to my kiddos, the best wife, daughter sister and friend.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friends are my sisters. We would go see garden of the gods, pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain zoo and anything outdoors. I would take them to all the local restaurants downtown. We would go to the Hot Springs and relax. We would have movie night with our favorite chick flicks, popcorn and pizza. I love entertainment and to have fun. Whether that’s going to the movies, camping, fishing or hanging around a campfire talking.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to thank my Mom and Dad for instilling a strong work ethic into myself and siblings lives. They always allow us to dream big, think outside the box and showed us how to be an amazing female entrepreneur.
I also want to thank my amazing Husband Adam for sticking beside me, encouraging, loving, believing and always pushing me to do better than my last. I can’t forget my children Shane and Hensley, They are my #1 reason why I work so hard and will continue to be my best at home and at work. I love you all very much.
