We had the good fortune of connecting with Sara Blette & Lexis Krieg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sara Blette & Lexis Krieg, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor in our success is collaboration creates connection.
For the past decade we have independently owned our own creative businesses. Starting with interior and graphic design, we both learned to hone our craft into a lifestyle business that supports our creative and financial needs. Along the way, we both became moms and learned the importance of leaning on family, friends and community for support. Through this lesson, we discovered that two minds are better than one. Rooted in the ethos of collaboration over competition, we were able to bring together our complementary skill sets and passions to create Samari Works. Our brand is dedicated to providing meditations + art projects to clear your mind and unlock your creative soul. Through a series of workshops, social media guides and retreats we foster community, collaboration and often much needed rest.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our message for the world is that YOU are creative. We all have a creative heart and we see it in you.

We’ve be watching you grow, do your work and nurture the ones you love. We know that you haven’t always put yourself first. We realize that you are craving something more but you just haven’t had the time. We understand that you may be scared, that art is new and sometimes it’s hard to calm your own inner critic.

We’re here to help. Why?

Because we’ve been there before.

Samari Works is here to inspire and cultivate creativity and mindfulness leading to more peace and joy in your everyday life. Take time to tap in to the place that inspires you. Learn to play, nurture your creative spirit, and watch your heart expand. We’ll be with you the entire time. The best way to overcome a challenge is to practice and the more you practice, the easier it gets. Take time to nurture your inner creative spirit.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our perfect day would start with coffee to go from The Bardo Coffee House, a sun rise viewing at Red Rocks and a hike on a trail. Breakfast follows at Snooze with the morning and afternoon filled with browsing art supplies at Meininger’s, strolling through MCA Denver, a walk through REI’s flagship store and Little Man Ice Cream. The perfect blend of adventure, good food and art.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
