Meet Eric Recker | Senior VP of Sales & Operations at Indacloud

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Recker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eric, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Working in the cannabis industry, risk is all around you. Knowing when to take risks in business and when to be more cautious has been a huge part of our journey launching Indacloud and growing the brand. We learned early on that it’s important to not take any risks regarding the quality of our delta-8 distillate or the safety of our products. We don’t let anything interfere with our ability to trace the chain of responsibility of all of the ingredients used in our products or our ability to offer batch-specific COA’s.

We are also extremely careful about who we work with. Even as laws and regulations change, which may prevent access to certain resources or suppliers, we are always cautious in regards to who we trust.

That being said, we are always taking risks in regard to being ahead of industry trends. We’re always researching what we can create next, developing new products, and taking risks to ensure we are at the front of what is innovative in cannabis.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Indacloud offers the highest quality delta-8 on the market. All of our products provide a reliable and consistent dose and real benefits including pain relief, an improved mood, and enhanced sleep. We even have delicious options such as small-batch chocolates made by a 100-year-old chocolatier and gourmet gummies that come in three different flavors.

We will actually be releasing THC-O and HHC products very soon, expanding our reach in the cannabinoid market to offer even more reliable, high-quality products. Both of these cannabinoids are lesser-known, so I am very excited to be able to introduce so many new people to their benefits.

Indacloud was launched because a handful of our initial founders were working in CBD manufacturing. We were constantly receiving pitches from Delta-8 brands that wanted to work with us, but they did not meet our standards for product quality. We knew Delta-8 was a cannabinoid that had both medicinal and recreational potential, so we did our research and launched Indacloud to offer real, credible products that did it justice.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Two of my favorite places to visit in Denver are the Red Rock Amphitheater and Washington Park. I usually try to visit in the Summer so I can enjoy the great weather and spend time outdoors. I also always enjoy going to the 16th street mall because it’s a fun spot for my entire family.

And since Colorado is a cannabis legal state, I usually take a trip to a dispensary to see what’s popular and trending. This can be a fun idea for anyone over the age of 21 who comes from a non-legal state just so you can just experience what a dispensary is like first-hand. Most carry CBD or even sometimes Delta-8 products in addition to those that contain psychedelic THC.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate this Shoutout series to my entire family. My wife is my biggest source of support, my children always inspire me to do more, and my parents have been my motivators since day one. My father in particular has been one of my greatest mentors in business, and someone I always have to credit for my own success.
