We had the good fortune of connecting with DuCe MCguire and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DuCe, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote is

Obstacles are things people see when they take their eyes off of their goals

It means that obstacles only exist when you give life to them. I personally don’t believe in them. My focus is grand. I don’t see them regardless of the hardships or set backs I may experience.

I like this quote because it keeps me motivated.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a Recording Artist / Producer and owner of my own company (Bad Brakes Entertainment) I started my journey in 2003 with former label Dont Sleep Entertainment as a solo artist but begin running my own business in early 2008.

It was a slow process, and I experienced many setbacks, but I continued to push forward due to my will and dedication. I learned a lot about the business and how to properly push my brand on a professional level, which connected me with an ample amount of underground and mainstream talented.

I want the world to know that my brand is very unique, original , and inviting.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take to my favorite place in Colorado, which is Estes Park , full of tranquility and where the atmosphere is great. Besides the studio, that’s my second place of creativity and fun.

The people are very warm and generous there with many forms of amusement.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
