We had the good fortune of connecting with Ali Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ali, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Believe it or not, I actually started my career as a Physician Assistant with a position in Cardiology. It wasn’t until I started getting Botox myself, did I fall in love with aesthetics! It provided me a way to use my medical knowledge to think creatively and help people at the same time. Fast forward 6 years and the idea of The Aesthetic Bar came to life.

My years in the aesthetic industry have allowed me to experience all types of offices settings, injection techniques and clientele. Aesthetic injectables can be an intimidating process. My main motivation behind starting The Aesthetic Bar was to make an atmosphere where people feel welcome. I wanted to provide an office my clients felt calm and comfortable in. One in which they were able to express their aesthetic concerns and trust me with the answers. I sought training with some of the most elite injectors and business owners in the industry. These trainings have given me the confidence & experience to implement business strategies, injectable techniques and office details to make The Aesthetic Bar what it is today. Whether you are a new or returning client, my goal remains the same – to have you leave looking and feeling your best!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Since moving to Denver from Florida in August 2021, I am extremely proud of how far The Aesthetic Bar has come in such a short time. It is the most exciting and rewarding venture I’ve ever taken on.

The Aesthetic Bar is tailored around my clients experience. My passion for aesthetics allows me to help my clients reach their goals but what sets me apart is my communication during and after procedures. The Aesthetic Bar is like concierge medicine without the price tag! I am always available for my clients and have created an environment in which they feel safe to express their concerns, dislikes or areas they wish to improve. I want my clients to feel good about themselves and the decisions they are making towards getting to that place. My ultimate goal is to instill confidence in the way people feel about themselves!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Where to begin?! Nothing beats the diverse neighborhoods in the Denver Metro Area or a short ride to the mountains any time of the year! You can honestly find a great place to explore or have a bite to eat at any time. One of my go-to’s with Denver’s beautiful weather is brunch at Jelly Cafe and a walk through the Botanical Gardens or around Sloans Lake. During spring or summer, one of my favorite hikes is Saint Mary’s Glacier. The views are unforgettable.

At night, stop by Williams & Graham for a truly luxurious, speakeasy experience. Union Station is a must, especially at night with the illuminating sign! You can also never go wrong with an upscale dinner at Mercantile.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This is a tough one! I feel very lucky to have had a great support system over the years.

For one, my wonderful parents – their support and examples of hard work helped mold me into the woman I am today. They taught me to believe in myself and pursue my passion.

Next, my boyfriend Chris who took on The Aesthetic Bar like his own. He worked hard to create the vision I had for the office space come to life – replacing the floors, painting and even adding custom cabinetry! I really couldn’t have done any of this without his help!

Finally, I want to dedicate this shoutout to the woman business owners in the aesthetic industry. Their confidence, knowledge and business tactics gave me the inspiration I needed to start The Aesthetic Bar.
