The concept or risk is abstract to me. What is risk taking anyways..?. You might look at my choices as risky. I make decisions based a number of factors, what’s the most direct route to creating or getting to my goal of the moment. Sometimes the most direct choice can be a large leap of faith/trust. I would argue taking risks is possibly the only way one could fulfill their destiny.. I would also say life without taking risks, isn’t much of a life at all. Anything worth while in my life is a direct result of stepping into the unknown and quite simply, I would not be where I’m at in my career and ultimately my life if I never took them. I tend to be pretty comfortable with risk. I left my home country at 23 to seek out new adventures in the UK and then the US. I have traveled to 25+ countries, raced mountain bikes, skied the backcountry, and taken many other personal risks. The personal risk I take has always felt manageable and within my control.
