We had the good fortune of connecting with Adam Fenton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m co-founder of Narrate Holdings and Narrate Ventures. Holdings is a real estate investment and development firm focused mostly in the front range and Ventures is a private equity investment platform where we invest in operating businesses that have great operators and need cash to grow.
The thing that I’m most proud of is the impact that our developments have in neighborhoods. We specialize is boutique projects, with a keen eye on the design and experience for all stakeholders. I would say this is something that people know us for.
It was not easy. I started the company right before the pandemic and shortly after starting the company went through some unexpected family challenges. I was able to get through it as I just focused on the tasks at hand for that day and one foot in front of the other. By focusing on executing the details day in and day out, the long term goal becomes much more achievable.
Lessons I’ve learned: Treat everyone the same, no matter who they are. Don’t burn bridges, it will always come back to bite you. Do what you say!
I want the world to know that our brand was built completely from scratch. We are all about being open and honest and providing the best experience for our residents and stakeholders.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are areas of town that are each unique in there own way. I think getting into the mountains for a day is a must if you are in Denver, it’s majestic and something you are only able to experience here. For dinner I always enjoy S Pearl St, Gaylord in Wash Park and the Highlands, although there are some great restaurants downtown and in RiNo as well. Obviously, a show at Red Rocks is always amazing and a once in a lifetime experience.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to our families who continue to support us in the ups and downs of starting a business. Also, a huge shoutout to all of the folks who work at Narrate, they took a chance of coming and helping us grow the business and are the backbone of the entire company.
