We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrian Muckle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adrian, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When it came to creating my own business, I decided after graduating with my bachelors from Florida Atlantic University, I didn’t want to have a traditional 9-5 life working for someone else’s company. I enjoy my craft so much I decided I was going to put all my efforts into making it my career. I had all sorts of jobs throughout college and the thought having a boss over me didn’t sit well and motivated the entrepreneurship in me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Photographer & Videographer who enjoys the craft of creating. I learned the craft of videography first and been doing it for more than 5 years professionally. I was recruited to work with a company called Allsnap Media early on when I was just a videogame video editor back in my sophomore year of college. Because of them I was able to pick a camera and fall in love with being behind the camera and bringing peoples visions to life through a lens. I was introduced to so many environments and people and different clientele which made my shooting style very versatile. I got into photography after venturing off and starting my own business. I enjoyed the thrill of doing something completely new and learning the ins and outs of photography, which was very beneficial for my brand. Adrian the SnapGod is now known all over and it’s honestly a blessing to see. I enjoy what I do and believe I am living the dream waking up everyday doing what I love.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Special shoutout to my mentors, friends and supporters that seen potential in me so many years ago and entrusted me with the opportunity to grow into the man I am today. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am at today. The organizations I am a part of (Progressive Black Men, Inc., Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, Inc., & Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.) through obstacles to better prepare for the real world and identify who I am as a person. I am forever grateful for the journey and I am still growing and learning everyday.
