We had the good fortune of connecting with Aida Vasilescu Rashelle Weinberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aida Vasilescu, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The idea for Élevé Matchmaking was born out of our personal experiences navigating today’s dating landscape as single moms. Both Aida and Rashelle have been single for nearly three years, and when we got married, dating apps were just beginning to gain traction, meaning we missed out on that entire phenomenon. Fast forward to today, as we reentered the dating world, we found ourselves going on hundreds of dates between the two of us, constantly comparing notes and thinking, Surely, there has to be a better way.

We reminisced about dating in the early 2000s, when connections felt more organic, and people were more intentional. At the same time, we saw the potential of modern technology and how it could be leveraged to enhance, not replace, human connection. The challenge, however, was filtering out men who weren’t serious or aligned with our values and streamlining a process that actually worked for high-caliber individuals seeking meaningful relationships.

That’s how Élevé Matchmaking was born. We created a high-end, concierge-style matchmaking service that combines traditional matchmaking values with modern tools to curate exceptional matches for elite, relationship-minded individuals. Our goal is to make dating a more intentional, seamless, and successful experience, something we wished existed when we first started dating again.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Élevé Matchmaking is a boutique, concierge matchmaking service designed for high-value individuals who are intentional about finding love. What truly sets us apart is us, our lived experiences, our deep understanding of relationships, and our ability to connect people in a way that fosters real, lasting connections.

We’ve been through the trenches of marriage, having chosen partners we weren’t fully aligned with. We’ve learned the hard lessons, done the internal work to heal, and grown into the best versions of ourselves. Now, we bring that wisdom and insight into the dating world, not just for ourselves, but for our clients. We get it because we’ve lived it, and that personal experience gives us an unmatched ability to help others avoid the same pitfalls while maximizing their chances of finding meaningful, aligned love.

What also sets us apart is that we’re in the trenches with you. We see the struggles and frustrations of modern dating, but we also recognize the opportunities. Between the two of us, we’ve gone on hundreds of dates, analyzed what works and what doesn’t, and developed a system that streamlines the process while filtering out those who aren’t serious. We don’t just pair people up, we take the time to deeply understand who they are, what they need, and what will truly make them happy in a partnership.

Our journey to building Élevé Matchmaking wasn’t easy. Like any business, we faced challenges, doubt, trial and error, and the ever-changing landscape of modern relationships. But our tenacity, creativity, and intuition have allowed us to build something truly special. We are business-savvy, expert human connectors who can quickly read people, make them feel comfortable, and create matches that actually work.

At the heart of it all, we are hopeful romantics who believe in love. We created Élevé Matchmaking because we want more of it in this world, for deserving men and women who are ready to show up, be intentional, and put their best foot forward in relationships. There is nothing more valuable in life than deep, meaningful connections, and we are honored to help people find them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Denver is an absolute dream for foodies, adventurers, and anyone who loves a mix of city life and nature. If my best friend was visiting for a week, we’d make sure to experience the best of everything, great food, hidden gems, mountain getaways, and, of course, a little bit of luxury.

Day 1: Welcome to Denver, Let’s Do It Right!
We’d kick off the trip in Cherry Creek, one of my favorite areas in the city. First stop? Forget Me Not for a pre-dinner drink, make that two Piñas, please, sir! 🍍🍹 After soaking in the lively ambiance, we’d stroll over to Quality Italian for a champagne toast and the must-order Lobster Ravioli. But the night wouldn’t end there! At 9:30, we’d make our way to the secret Speakeasy, Girls & Boys Club. Find the triangle, ring the doorbell, and let the adventure begin as we sip craft cocktails in this hidden gem.

Day 2: Luxe Mountain Getaway, Aspen or Vail?
Are we feeling the cozy charm of Vail, where it feels like a storybook Swiss village? If so, we’d check into the Four Seasons, grab a famous hot chocolate by the fire, and enjoy the crisp mountain air. Or are we leaning toward the glam of Aspen? We’d stay at the iconic St. Regis, hike the breathtaking Maroon Bells, and, of course, create custom cowboy hats at Kemo Sabe for the ultimate Aspen souvenir. Either way, après-ski cocktails are a must.

Day 3: Back to the City, Sports & Rooftop Vibes?
Denver has it all when it comes to sports. We’d catch a Nuggets game at Ball Arena, a Rockies game at Coors Field (because what’s better than baseball and a cold beer in the sun?), or get into the energy of a Broncos game at Empower Field. Afterward, we’d head to Avanti F&B or El Five for the best rooftop views of the city.

Day 4: A Relaxing & Aesthetic Day
After all that adventure, it’s time for a little self-care. We’d book facials and massages at The Ritz-Carlton Spa or The Oxford Club, followed by an afternoon of shopping in Cherry Creek. A late lunch at Le Bilboquet for some French-inspired bites and a glass of rosé is the perfect way to reset.

Day 5: Brunch, Botanic Gardens & More Hidden Gems
Denver does brunch right, so we’d start the day at Snooze or Root Down for some of the best breakfast cocktails and creative dishes. Then, we’d stroll through the Denver Botanic Gardens or visit the Meow Wolf immersive art experience for something totally unique. At night, we’d hit up another speakeasy, maybe Williams & Graham or Run for the Roses, because you can never have too many secret cocktail bars.

Day 6: Last Night in Town, A Culinary Finale
For a final farewell dinner, it has to be Tavernetta, where the handmade pastas and incredible wine list make for the perfect send-off. Then, a nightcap at Union Station’s Cooper Lounge, where we’d toast to an unforgettable trip before planning our next adventure.

Day 7: Departure, But First, One Last Coffee Run
Before heading to the airport, we’d grab one last coffee at Aviano Coffee or a matcha latte from Stella’s, because no trip is complete without the perfect caffeine send-off.

Denver is an incredible mix of adventure, indulgence, and fun, and this itinerary would give my best friend an unforgettable experience. Whether it’s fine dining, hidden speakeasies, mountain escapes, or luxury stays, there’s always something to do here!

We truly believe that success is never achieved alone, and we are incredibly grateful for the people and influences that have shaped our journey with Élevé Matchmaking. First and foremost, Attached was a game-changer in helping us understand relationships on a deeper level, and we are especially grateful to Thais Gibson, who mentored and trained Aida in Integrated Attachment Theory. Her guidance has been invaluable in shaping our approach to matchmaking, allowing us to connect people in a way that is both intentional and deeply aligned with their emotional needs.

Beyond that, our incredible friend groups have been our rock. They’ve stood by us through the highs and lows of divorce and single motherhood, cheered us on as we navigated the wild world of dating, and were always there to listen, whether we were laughing over a great date or venting about a terrible one. Their support and encouragement gave us the confidence to turn our experiences into something meaningful.

Of course, our greatest shoutout goes to our children. They are the sweetest, most precious souls, and they’ve walked alongside us through this journey with love and grace. They remind us every day why building meaningful relationships matters.

And above all, we owe everything to God, who has had our backs through every challenge, every setback, and every triumph. His guidance, grace, and unwavering support have been our foundation, and we trust that He has led us exactly where we’re meant to be.
