We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Ridenour and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amanda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Keep GOING. I have been taking photos for over 12 years now and I have grown so much in those 12 years. I always have to keep going and learn. Sometimes I stumble on how to continue doing what I love but then BAM, something new plops itself into my lap and I get to problem solve and start again with my creative journey with photographing something!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I got to wear I am today because of my persistence and honesty. In my business I always want my art/ photos to be real. That is why my mission statement is a real photographer for those real moments. I want people to be themselves and sometimes that takes getting to know the client more. I am willing to always sit down with someone and have a coffee and talk through all of their vision for a photo shoot if that is going to make them more comfortable in the long run! You can see everything in a photo, so I want to make it the best representation of the person, company or product!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to thank my mother! She has always told me to “try” everything. She encourages my happiness but always tells me there are so many ways to get to my goals!
