We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Kirschman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrew, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
My inspiration comes from creative approaches, using advanced technology, to bring our (and our client’s ideas) to life. AKA is driven by creating productions that not only exceed our clients expectations, but that inspire other people in our field to push the boundaries both as professionals, and for the experience of the patron.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
AKA is about helping music artists, promotors, festivals, and venues elevate their patron experience. We recently took possession of the first PK Sound System in Denver Colorado, and look forward to providing it for music and performers of all genres, as we are confident it will raise the bar for the (many) concert goers in our state. Our Turbosound System, and PK Sound system give us both point source, and line array solutions for events of all sizes.

We understand that each event should be held to the highest standard, and that it is crucial to our clients success. Having just finished our 50 show tour with “Mersiv,” where we showcased the potential of PK Sound, we are excited to bring that experience to the Denver concert market.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being an adrenaline junkie and car enthusiast, my immediate go-to would definitely be the race track and dirt bike track. High Plains Raceway, Watkins Motocross, and IMI are some of my favorite places to take the car or the bikes. Of course, we would have to drive up to Red Rocks and Lookout Mountain for a day trip, and follow up it up dinner at Los Dos Potrillos, in Parker, for queso and drinks. Personally, I am warm weather person, so if we could squeeze in a day at Chatfield Reservoir with some frisbee, I’m always in

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Without a doubt, I would love to dedicate this Shoutout to the late Anthony Martin. ‘Tony’ took me under his wing as an Audio Engineer early 2012 as his helper at Voodoo Cafe, in Shreveport Louisiana. Throughout the following years, while transitioning into retirement, Tony worked me into his leadership positions at multiple venues. These included the state theater of Louisiana, The Strand Theatre. My time at The Strand, the experience of working with its incredible staff, and the countless shows and Broadways we executed will always be a memory that I cherish.

To all the wonderful ladies at The Strand, Jenifer, Brandy, Lily, thank you for believing in me and for all the wonderful memories.

Id also like to shoutout my fiance, Anna, for believing in me since the beginning. I couldn’t do any of this without her.
