We had the good fortune of connecting with Angelika Koch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angelika, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business helps people navigate through the complications of relationships, healing from breakups, and self-love. I offer daily free videos on my social media accounts helping to teach people the ins and outs of healing and relationships, and offering free courses on my website that anyone can take. I think it’s important to offer these free things because not everyone can afford sessions and some just need a bit of guidance to help them on their path. I also help couples and individuals through personalized 1-1 sessions. I make sure to create a safe space for them to help them move forward with the goals they have set and provide them the tools they need to move forward in the healthiest way possible.

What should our readers know about your business?
Some of the feedback I hear the most often from my clients is how comfortable they feel with me and how much progress they make. They tell me that they don’t feel judged and they feel safe as they move forward towards the goals they have set. That is something I treasure and strive for when it comes to how I want my clients to feel.

Building and growing my business wasn’t easy and there were times that things were not moving forward the way I had hoped it would. But I didn’t give up and I kept moving forward, one day at a time. Finally I reached my own business goals and now I am living the life of my dreams as I help as many people as I can.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, I would first take her to Thump. It’s a cute coffee shop with a lot of character. After that we would visit some shops in the art district and we would finish the day at blue sake sushi. It has the best vegan sushi in town.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout out to my best friend Alice. Over the years that I have known her, she helped me grow as a person. I wouldn’t be where I am at without the guidance and love she has shown me and I am lucky to say she is a part of my chosen family.
