We had the good fortune of connecting with Anissa Faus and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anissa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My business was born from both heartbreak and hope. When my world was shattered by loss, I discovered that leadership isn’t just about strategy — it’s about soul. I realized there was a gap in how we prepare leaders to rise not just through data and decisions, but through compassion, resilience, and regeneration. Love Wins Collective™ was created to prove that love belongs in leadership. It’s more than a business — it’s a movement, a way of reminding leaders that when we lead with heart, we create ripples of transformation that outlast us.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Love Wins Collective™ is more than a business – it is a movement of resilient, regenerative leadership. Through Love Wins Leadership™ I deliver executive coaching, immersive leadership experiences and culture-shaping programs that empower high-performing, soul-driven leaders to reignite energy, elevate impact and transform culture with purpose and heart.

Alongside this work, Love Wins Foundation™ stands beside families navigating loss – offering compassion, advocacy and love in action so no one has to walk through grief alone. And a third expression of the brand – the Love Wins Collection™ – will soon share our message through an inspiring merchandise line, extending the movement into everyday life.

What sets us apart is the conviction that love is the most powerful force for transformation – love for yourself, for others and from others. We blend data-backed neuroleadership tools with a soul-lit approach so leaders not only perform at a high level but also create cultures that heal, inspire and endure.

Getting here was not easy. I spent decades leading high-performing teams in the multifamily industry, followed by the sudden loss of my husband Gregg and, a few years later, a major corporate shake-up – the second restructuring of my career. Building this company while raising two sons required resilience I made a concerted, unwavering decision to choose every single day. That season taught me to hold both grit and grace and to model regenerative leadership – leadership that restores rather than depletes – until it becomes hard-coded into your DNA.

I am most proud of the lives we are touching – from executives resetting their MOJO to educators and families finding hope after loss. The lesson I carry forward is simple and profound: where love leads, legacy follows.

Above All, Love Wins™. This is the ethos of our work and the story I want the world to know.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to town for a week, we’d create a little love-soaked Colorado adventure – equal parts nature, food and soul-filling moments.

Morning rituals start with an Americano at Kaladi Coffee Roasters – strong, smooth and the perfect kickoff to a day in the Mile High sun. From there we’d head west for a mountain hike – Buena Vista is my favorite after Vail, and if time allows we’d venture all the way to Telluride – heaven on earth – because nothing resets your spirit like those wide-open views and crisp alpine air.

Somewhere in the mix we’d squeeze in a hard-core kickboxing workout at Revolution Martial Arts – because nothing says bestie like badass.

Back at my home, we’d soak in the beauty of our backyard – nature all around, a crackling firepit and fun tree swings that invite you to pause, laugh and simply breathe. I’d be DJing my favorite indie and feel-good 70s/80s/90s playlist – we’d laugh and sing out loud until the stars came out.

Evenings are for music and magic. We’d grab blankets and head to a concert at Red Rocks, where the sandstone walls turn every song into a cathedral of sound. It’s pure Colorado soul.

For dinner, Barcelona Wine Bar in RiNo is non-negotiable. It taps straight into my Spanish roots – crisp Albariño or a chilled Spanish rosé, scrumptious tapas and an atmosphere that feels like a celebration of life itself. On another evening we’d wander through Cherry Creek for a little shopping and a glass of wine on a sunny patio.

I also love the arts scene in Denver, especially the Santa Fe Art Walk in the summer – vibrant, creative and alive with music and color. And for a suburban detour, give me downtown Littleton and Carboy Winery/Angelo’s off Santa Fe – delicious, beautiful and the perfect blend of neighborhood charm and wine-lover’s delight.

The week would weave together nature, amazing food, crisp wine, great company, live music and a dash of martial-arts grit – all immersed in that golden Colorado sunshine with the mountains standing guard. Pure bliss – and the kind of trip that reminds you that Above All, Love Wins™.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To my sons, Gavin and Braeden you are my why. You remind me daily what true leadership and legacy look like. Your courage, humor, and unshakable spirit have turned my deepest loss into an even deeper purpose. Every keynote, every coaching session, every late-night idea is rooted in the hope that you will always know what it means to lead with love and to live with purpose.

To my late husband Gregg your quiet strength and fierce love remain my compass. Losing you cracked me wide open, and your legacy of kindness and integrity fuels this work and the movement we now call Love Wins™.

To my partner Paul your steady presence and therapist’s wisdom have brought healing and a bright new light to this chapter. Your belief in me and in this mission has been both grounding and galvanizing.

I’m endlessly grateful to my family & friends who have carried me through seasons of heartbreak and celebrated every spark of growth along the way. Also to Heather Campbell for her branding brilliance, and to everyone who has poured love and encouragement into this journey. And most of all, to God. You are so good. ❤️

And to the mentors and allies who believed in me long before Love Wins Collective™ had a name – to the industry colleagues who gave me room to lead and learn – and to my CHIEF circle of powerhouse women who prove that leadership with heart is not only possible but, when you live it, becomes part of your very DNA – thank you.

Each of you is living proof that Above All, Love Wins™. Your faith in me turned loss into legacy and gave this work its fire.
