We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Mercer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor in the success of my company is honesty. It really is the best policy. I’ve always made our products, our mission, our goals, and our true purpose out of honesty. If you’re honest with your customers, honest about your products and that combined with hard work, it’s the recipe for success

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets Reborn Tattoo Care apart from others is the Care the company has for the industry and artists in it. We really try to build solid relationships with artists, push them to be the best they can be, while pushing one another to be more successful. I’ve learned that if people like you, your business will flourish. If you are about what you say you are, people will recognize it. I want people to know that Reborn Tattoo Care is not just a fly by night, money grab. Me being the owner puts my heart and soul into this day in and day out. I care about my company, the artists I have, the artists I know, and am grateful as hell.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
If I had to give credit to a few people, it would be first, my wife. She actually told me that I should try this business out and take it seriously. She also came up with the name. Pretty important stuff. 2nd would be one of my best buds, and tattoo artist I met through this venture year one, Justin Coppolino. He took up giving me advice and was a big encouragement when I was pretty oblivious to how things in this industry worked. He was a big time influence to me. Glad to call him a friend.
