We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandy Unruh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think for me it is all about character building. Success looks like different things to different people. For me and what I try to teach my daughter, it is all about doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Even when it isn’t easy. So for me success means being able to be proud of what you have done and how you have helped people even when it doesn’t always mean a sale. There are countless people I have helped to “not sell” their home, which means the world when someone who wants to stay gets to. There is more to success in my eyes than how many homes you have sold, how much money you make…sometimes the greatest accomplishments equate to no sale at all but some very happy and grateful people who trust you, love you and appreciate you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a residential home expert that covers the entire Front Range. I work everywhere because most of my people are pretty spread out. I am most proud of the ability to help people connect with the things/people/services they need. I love selling homes; the entire process start to finish is like a piece of art for me. Staging, photos, marketing, all of it coming together to shine the way it’s meant to be. However, it doesn’t stop there, sometimes things go wrong (actually in many transactions there is always a small hiccup of some kind). I really shine on solving those problems with all the parties involved in order to help everyone get where they want to be. I enjoy being able to help connect people to other people along the way, before during, and after a transaction is over. I love being a part of their world long after the home has closed and having them be a part of mine.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Whenever my friends come to visit me I take them to Denver-either a hockey game or a baseball game, a night out or something very city. I always take them into nature either Estes Park or one of the amazing other local places where you can hike or see the magic Colorado has to offer, I always take them to one of my favorite local and family owned restaurants like 24 carrot or Piripi in the town I live in, and I always finish it off with some quality time with some friends who live here, because what makes it worth it….is the community that we have created here!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Lucky for me, my entire career is based on collaborations. I am always looking for new contractors, plumbers, designers, investors, photographers, you name it…I enjoy connecting with others. I truly believe for the Real Estate industry leaders to truly shine they also have to learn from, connect with and truly embrace working with other agents.
