We had the good fortune of connecting with Bree Wolfe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bree, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve been an Esthetician for 17 years. Thanks to my Dad, I’ve always had an entrepreneur mindset. I have started multiple businesses without really knowing what the outcome would be. The opportunity came up last year to open this studio, and I laughed. Open a new business during a pandemic? I thought “There is no way I will be able to manage starting a new business, and raising two little boys at the same time!”
I sought counsel, took a risk, and everything just fell into place. That’s when I knew I was doing what I was supposed to do.
When thinking of a name, I wanted it to be simple, yet meaningful. When I thought about what I truly do, it goes beyond just skincare or makeup. It’s a therapy session. It’s a mom who needs a break. It’s a glass of wine, and girl time. Its physical touch and just a reminder that we are all human, and still need one another.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve always been interested in art and science. I love that when working with skin, there is a lot to know about how it functions. Luckily, my passion to learn about skin (and beauty in general) has always come naturally so I’m constantly adding to my 17 years of experience. I truly want nothing more than to make someone feel good in their own skin, which is where the idea of opening Beyond came from. I wanted to create a space where anyone and everyone could come and feel safe, special, and beautiful by the time they leave my chair.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, being a Colorado native, there would be a long list of places I would take my best friend visiting. Honestly, I would want to show them all the wonderful things just in my circle. Downtown Littleton has so much history. There’s everything you need just off Main Street, with a lot to do nearby.
The perfect day would be to start at one of my favorite hidden gem, Cafe Terracotta for some brunch and a mimosa.
Then head over to Willow and Tuliare for some retail therapy! Don’t tell my husband…There are so many fun boutiques to walk to and explore.
Next is quenching our thirst with a spicy margarita at Palenque paired with their amazing street tacos.
For an intimate night cap Kates wine bar is so welcoming and cozy. You just feel at home here.
Or if we want to stay in and enjoy a glass of wine at home. Jordan, owner of Neighborhood Wine and Spirits always has great conversations and the best recommendations for a wonderful bottle.
If its around the holidays. My favorite thing to do is grab some hot tea and walk main street and see all the beautiful lights.
I love to be outside and enjoy what this beautiful state has to offer. Enjoying a glass of wine by the fire pit during the sunset is the perfect way to top off a beautiful weekend.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My faith is very important to me. I have made decisions in life that have been outside of Gods will , and they never work out. When I told my husband about this opportunity, his response was ” you’re doing this!” I laughed and said, “not until I pray about it. I’m not making a big decision without knowing this is what God wants for us in this next stage of life.”
God deserves the credit for making it clear on what to do. My husband deserves the credit for pushing me out of my comfort zone, helping me finance what I need to get started, and encouraging me every step of the way.
My parents deserve the credit for asking the hard questions about what work and life balance will look like.
My sister and my best friend deserve the credit for being behind the scenes of getting my logo, website, and social media up and running.
