Meet Brenton Lott | Petra Mons founder and creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brenton Lott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brenton, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting the Petra Mons company was providing my friends in CO a locally sourced and made game that brings people together to stack some stones.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like a I am just another artist here in summit county trying to support myself and Petra Mons being a new small company has been a way to keep myself busy in the down seasons to create a game people enjoy playing.

I’ve been proud out how far it has came just in the 2 years it’s been in development and the cult fallowing it has made.

I’ve made it to this point In my career for working with people who are also passionate about being creative and working hard to start businesses and do what they love.

I want people to.know that Petra Mons is a fun Interesting local game that takes the luck and still it’s players to have fun and try something new. It’s a great way to support local artists and people of the summit county community

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends a family come to summit county I love to show them the beautiful nature of rocky mountains. Biking on the pincelle trails. rafting on the colorado river and sking at the basin. I enjoy cooking at home but if we are going out it’s to hearthstone, summit thia, Radicadio or RMU. Or playing golden tee at Erics. Also hitting thrift store or just looking out the window driving around the lake

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I was born and raised in VT and have been classically trained as a chef for the last 12 years. My love for the out doors and nature developed years before that and creating items out of nature is one one my passions. Developing Petra mons comes from a few games growing up and mostly my love for stones and bringing people together.
