We had the good fortune of connecting with Candy Harman-Langley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Candy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I came to Colorado I was on a mission to just work for someone. Having owned my own business most of my life I was ready to slow down and have more balance in my life. When I started really learning this market/state and what was available for clients in the way of marketing companies I saw a real need for a strong boutique agency that offered all services in-house. Too many smaller agencies out source everything and the larger agencies charge way too much for their services which cuts out the middle to smaller companies. So my partner Kevin Davis and I started The Harman Media and Marketing Group! (THM2G) Since opening our doors in we have continually grown and have produced some great results for our clients. Having owned a national agency in Tampa for years I did not want to create the same model. So our focus is mainly on medium sized businesses that want to increase their customer bases or grow their sales overall.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We saw a need for a true boutique agency that handles all aspects of Advertising in house. Most agencies are either large and charge to much for the middle of the road companies or Table top agencies that out source everything and have no control of the outcome. We have provided some amazing results for our clients and that is what we really enjoy. We love to watch our clients grow and increase their sales while truly managing their brands.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with a weekend stay up in Estes Park and road trip throughout the mountain areas. If down in the Springs we enjoy supporting all of the locally owned restaurants. Most of us here are working all the time and we don’t have much time to get out and really enjoy this great city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I will start with Luisa Graff. She has become one of my dearest friends and biggest supporters. It was Luisa who kicked me in the rear and supported me to do this. I can never Thank her enough for her friendship and support. Of course my husband Kevin Langley is a huge support to me as well. Then finding the perfect person to partner with, Kevin Davis. Together we have created a great agency and a fantastic team. And last but not least our great clients who continue to support us and grow with us.
