We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Knox and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Casey, how do you think about risk?
I consider risk to be more exciting than scary. I think with risk comes new opportunities and forces you not to stay too comfortable. Taking risks in life has helped me to stand out, in-turn, this has helped me succeed in not only my business but on social media as well.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is called Bib Belts. This is a product that I invented and am currently in the process of patenting. What I find most interesting about my product is that I get to do what I love every day while creating content and marketing my product simultaneously. A few challenges that I faced before owning a successful business was working long hours at a desk job and earning minimum wage. I also attempted to start two other businesses that had failed. Both challenges taught me exactly what I needed to know to be successful today. I would love the world to know that if you continue to push yourself and work toward your dream, you will succeed. Don’t give up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was to come visit for a week in Big Bear, CA I would take her to Dank Donuts or Moonridge Coffee in Big Bear lake for breakfast and coffee. Following breakfast, I would take her to Snow Summit Ski mountain or Big Bear Mountain Resort for some snowboard park laps. Some of my favorite dinner spots to follow riding include: Sonora Mexican Restaurant, Oakside in Big Bear Village, and Murray’s downtown. If she was still in the mood for snowboarding, I would take her night riding at Snow Summit under the lights! AV is always a fun little Nightclub to hit too if you are in town over the weekend!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shoutout my Mom for always showing me how to be independent and to never stop working hard. My mom has continued to show me what never giving up looks like and how hard work ALWAYS pays off.
