Meet Cassi Torres | Vice President

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cassi Torres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cassi, what do you attribute your success to?
The power of a High 5, the simple two-handed gesture informs how we do business every single day. A high five can be a show of support, appreciation, excitement, relief, or just plain friendliness. It’s a quick gesture, but it means something significant to both parties. It has an impact, and it can brighten a day for our employees and our customers. Making an impact through high fives has taught us that we are so much more than just a plumbing company. We get to see the positive effects our high five-driven business has on our team, our clients, our community, and the nonprofits we partner with through our charitable giving program, High 5 Cares. We know a high five can change someone’s day, and our team proves this time and again by living up to the High 5 Mission: “To come together as more than individuals to create a positive impact on our team, our clients, and our community, one High 5 at a time.” We knew that our name was bold when we created it back in 2012, and we’re proud to live up to that boldness in our commitment to excellent service. At High 5 Plumbing, we strive to operate in a way that is consistently worthy of a high five, whether that’s in building up our team, working with clients, or helping out in the community.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are changing the game for plumbers! For so long plumbers have had the typical stereotype of dirty clothes, crack-attack, and being horrible at communication. We made it clear from day 1 that we are different and don’t fall in that typical plumber description and have proven since why we are changing the game for plumbers. High 5 Plumbing is a progressive plumbing company that has utilized technology and video estimates to provide top notch customer service. Your plumber really can be just a facetime call away with our High 5 Live video estimates. Plumbers also have 3 different jersey-style uniforms they get to rep each day! Uniform options and a basketball hoop are some of the perks for being a High 5 Team member. Mainly we want plumbers to feel confident in the trades. The trades can provide such a great living and opportunity and it’s our job to show the younger generation this!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Denver has some amazing places to visit.  Here are some things I would definitely recommend: 1) A hike in Boulder or Nederland 2) Grab a coffee and walk the 16th street mall in downtown Denver & 3) Visit Red Rocks for some Yoga or a evening concert!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely have to give a huge “high five” shoutout to my mentor Kenny Chapman. My husband Levi and I started working with Kenny, founder of the Blue Collar Success Group back in 2016 and have been blessed these last years from his support and guidance. As young entrepreneurs, having a coach to help keep your mindset in check and pushing those limiting beliefs has been a total game changer.
