We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea Kyle Gifford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chelsea Kyle, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was in Divinity school participating in a 2-week silent meditation retreat in Crestone, Colorado and I had a spark of insight. At the time I was working for a liquor marketing company as a promo girl, while volunteering in assisted living facilities as I was studying to become a chaplain. I felt incongruent with my values with my career choice and my job. I decided I wanted to be a coach and support people to become their whole self before getting into partnerships, so they do not create codependent relationships. At the retreat, I put down my credit card for a yearlong feminine based coaching program and looked at my fanny pack full of hair tinsel and decided this side gig of applying “Faerie Hair” would replace the liquor gig. As I continued through my Masters and studying coaching, I started my first 2 businesses: ShaktiShiva Project LLC to coach and The Faerie Collective LLC to train others how to apply this Faerie Hair and offer a blessing. I began coaching private clients and trained over 30 people to make money applying tinsel and giving a blessing. During Covid, the face to face Faerie Hair interaction and membership dwindled, so I pivoted. I began a free offering called ‘Shift Happens’, which transitioned to a mini interview series called ‘Bee the Shift’ to ask questions to spiritual entrepreneurs. I sold superfoods and shared my online products to promote health in a tumultuous time. I did not want to become a chaplain in the hospital during the pandemic, so I pivoted to become a Sophia Code Circle facilitator. I am now leading my tenth 13-week circle. Then the opportunity to take over the yoga studio came into our sphere and we started Yoga Center of Denver in 2021. I also produced a course called, “Sacred Scheduling for Spiritual Entrepreneurs” and have been offering individual and group coaching programs, which I am about to scale even bigger. I now sell a larger variety of products and services, offer coaching, spiritual group facilitation, Faerie Hair, have a yoga studio with classes, workshops, bodywork, event rentals, and more. I love the ability to pivot, innovate, and personally develop along the way.

What should our readers know about your business?
Although One Colony LLC holds Yoga Center of Denver, I have created a new company Sacred Life Mission LLC to umbrella my heart mission of Sacred Scheduling for Spiritual Entrepreneurs, Sophia Code Circles, and product sales with MyDailyChoice. This business is dedicated to empowering individuals to live their most authentic lives by integrating spirituality with disciplined practices and harmonize your daily flow with Divine purpose. It is a unique approach to scheduling and personal growth — blending sacredness with everyday structure and I help my clients align their daily actions with their core values and long-term goals, while also birthing their Divine purpose within The Sophia Code Circles.

I am most proud of watching people as they have their deep interpersonal moments of transformation, communing with their Higher Self, and taking steps to turn their deep calling into a real life endeavor to pursue with their whole being. Whether it is inspired entrepreneurs, sovereign mothers, or individuals in committed partnerships, seeing people step into their power and live out their passion is incredibly rewarding. I am also excited about expanding my Sacred Scheduling offerings to cater to the specific needs of these different groups and offering a free 5-day program to introduce more people to this work that could ensure they do not die with regrets.

Getting to this point has not been easy. I have faced numerous hurdles, from balancing motherhood with entrepreneurship to navigating the complexities of running a spiritual and brick and mortar business. However, embracing radical responsibility and maintaining a strong vision has been key. By setting clear yearly, quarterly, and monthly goals, and breaking them down into daily actionable steps, I have managed to stay aligned with my purpose. I am also constantly in personal development programs.

Through these experiences, I have learned several valuable lessons. The importance of staying in your zone of genius as much as possible, the power of a supportive community, and the necessity of rest and self-care have all been integral to my journey. Additionally, I have realized that building a successful business requires a blend of structure and flexibility — a balance we strive to teach through my programs.

What I want the world to know about Sacred Life Mission LLC and One Colony LLC is that we are committed to helping individuals lead lives filled with freedom, creativity, and self-love. My Sacred Scheduling method is more than just time management — it is about creating a life that reflects your deepest passions and highest aspirations that will contribute to us being the honeybees who work together to serve our great Mother Earth as One Colony sharing this beautiful planet together. What a sweet thing that will bee.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Let’s get out of the city and go hit the mountains! Winter Park, Vail, Glenwood Springs, Red Rocks, Buena Vista, and see lots of beauty along the way! We will look up gluten free and vegan friendly food near me on our phones and go there!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to recognize Kaia Ra for birthing ‘The Sophia Code’ and for living through the hardships she has endured to share her story to help the countless people still living in enslavement. I want to shoutout Dr. Erin Haskell for her Soulciete course that inspired me to think more about my soul based coaching business. I want to thank Sianna Sherman for being my Priestess teacher and continuing to show me how to be the center of my life as the magick maker. I want to thank Jolie Dawn, my coach for Creatrix Academy, who is teaching me to grow and scale my coaching business. I want to thank Jeannine Yoder for being my first coach and encouraging me to invest in myself for the first time ever at that level. I want to thank all my network marketing trainers and coaches, including Eric Worre, for showing me how to create leverage in a business. I want to thank Ashley Garcia, who first taught me how to apply hair tinsel, which has supported so many connections and networking opportunities and an income doing what I love. I want to thank Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins for their coaching and creating a backend system for my course. I want to thank my yoga studio team and my partner, Bryant for holding it down at the studio and creating a space that can support people to have life changing experiences. I want to thank my daughter for lighting me up to be a better leader and mother. I want to thank my parents for supporting me, even when questioning my choices sometimes, but they truly love me unconditionally. Honestly, I could go on and on because I have been in personal development for years and each trainer and coach and speaker touches me and moves me to keep going and shapes who I can be in the world.
