We had the good fortune of connecting with Jord’yne Stewart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jord’yne, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever truly known or understood when to give up. Modeling is a tough journey and career to have, but it does teach me to look at rejection differently. Don’t look at it as failure or a sign to just quit, if it’s something you truly love you’ll do whatever it takes to fully embrace all of its trials and tribulations.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Modeling was never really a dream of mine until I actually got into the scene. Before I was a model I was struggling to love myself and let that be seen by many, I never felt like I would be anything or find a passion that would increase my drive towards success. A lot of challenges I faced in the creative world was finding myself so that I could be more marketable and build connections. I’ve learned that the more you embrace yourself the easier it is to be comfortable in any new environment the creative industry provides. I want the world to know that I’m making my mark and I’m coming in HOT. I’m not going to stop until I’m able to model for brands such as Fenty, Valentino, and Chanel. I will be known for dancing and being a versatile model who can embody the spirit any project assigned to me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If any of my out of state friends came to Colorado, I would show them around the lives of creatives first so they can see that you don’t have to only work a nine to five and have to be on schedule for a life that doesn’t make you feel fulfilled. I’d then show them a lot of the scenic areas Colorado offers so that they can feel the sense of freedom and relief. Colorado has some of the most intimately beautiful sunsets and landscapes that I visit regularly to just relax and or pray.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
HAUS! Specifically Michael Sullivan, throughout my whole journey Michael Sullivan has done nothing but fully support me and gave me a family when I was going through some hard times. Michael Sullivan has such a pure heart and an amazing spirit. If it weren’t for his passion for fashion and his heart of gold I wouldn’t be who I am today wanting to prove that I can be more.
