We had the good fortune of connecting with Chrissy Lenihan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chrissy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to have more freedom in my personal life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Chrissy’s wine shop at home is my Wine tasting’s business. I work for the mortgage industry as loan processor CD tech, and Document Drawer for closing. I close loans in Colorado, California, and Arizona. On average closing 4.6 million a month in volume.
As mortgage pays the bills Wine is my true love. I so enjoy sharing the amazing wines with friends and family. The passion I have for this shows thru in my tastings. I went to a few tastings a new this was what I would be good at I have a bubbly fun personality that is what truly makes my tasting experience so much fun.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our trip here would consist of the following.
We would start in Estes park take a drive up and eat lunch at Penelope’s they have the BEST burgers in Estes.
We would take the hills from there over to Nederland to the carousel of happiness. We would stay that night in Boulder at the St. Julien and eat dinner there such good food.
Next day would be a Denver day probably brunch at Mimosas head to the botanical gardens. Head over to Hamburger Mary’s for dinner and a show end the night dancing at whatever club the actors from Mary’s head.
Next day I would take her to Colorado Springs. There is an amazing Jamaican food restaurant they serve the best food.
Head to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo it’s fun. That evening head into downtown eat dinner and head to this really cool tiki bar with awesome drinks
From here we would head to Mount Princeton hot springs stay the night there.
Next day take her to Mexico City for fried tacos before she headed back home.
