Meet Christina Lenzini | Lash Artist & Licensed Esthetician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Lenzini and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Continuing my education was key. Getting my lash certification after my licensing boosted my career from the beginning. Lash extensions were fairly new to everyone in CO and I was able to build my clientele quicker then without.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Mountain Women Esthetics is based around natural beauty and natural looking eyelash extensions. My pride in my business is to emphasize your natural characteristics and to not “over correct”, mask or make you look fabricated. The natural look always has people guessing.
Getting to where I am today, it hasn’t been easy. I have always had multiple part time jobs in the beginning of my career working 12+hrs days to keep everything and our goals going. There were times I wanted to give up but I’m glad I never did. I just kept going. The payoff is more then just having a business. I’ve built a lifestyle, networks and meaningful relationships with the amazing people that come through my doors.
I believe connection is so important. I want people to know they can come to my business and receive no judgment and have a safe place to be and decompress from the stresses of life. I provide a spa like environment with your comfort top priority. I love being an artist and to be able to create something special everyday.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to my favorite gym, Wooden Mountain Bouldering Gym and grab some of my favorite food from Bai Tong in Loveland and go for a hike around Lily Lake in Estes Park.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband, William Mace, has been a true backbone in my success. He was the one that really pushed me to open my own business in the first place. He knew I could do it and has supported my business through its highs and lows. I had to close my shop during the Pandemic and with his support I was able to open again and run the business and lifestyle I’ve always loved.
