We had the good fortune of connecting with James Auvil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi James, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind me starting my business was to bring awareness to how THC can help people. Dealing with depression and anxiety, on whatever level someone has, can be an anxious part of life in itself. Also, sharing my personal experiences and thoughts on life can also help people if they are going through a tough part of life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love to be creative. I think that being creative can bring out the best in someone. When I see something that has a usually approach to a way of life, I always see the next thing, and the creative side to it. For example, When it comes to a business that someone works at, I see the avenues that it can take. If a new company launches, how can a podcast or a YouTube channel make this better. I think when it comes to the regular business model of a company, it can be very outdated. In this day and age, digital is the way to go.

The brand I would like to see my podcast be is helpful, cheerful, and knowledge based. Whether it is out of one of my life stories or experiences. Helping people has always been a way for me to help myself. I don’t know about everyone but helping people can make you feel good and felt needed.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The dispensaries, Manitou Springs Incline, Garden of the Gods, all of the local food chains and comedy clubs, and the mountain range.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
