We had the good fortune of connecting with Christine Han and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to have a modern law firm that is different from traditional firms. I wanted to assist clients in a meaningful way and get the best results possible for them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Han Law Group is a boutique law firm located in Aurora, Colorado. Practice areas include Immigration, Family law, and Criminal defense, and we represent clients all across the state of Colorado. We pride ourselves for going the extra mile for our clients and building strong, trusting, lasting relationships with them. The whole team at Han Law Group is very passionate about what we do.

I am a daughter of immigrants who had a family business. Starting my law firm was very natural for me because leadership runs in my family. It has not been easy but the legal profession is very rewarding. I am extremely grateful that I can advocate on behalf of my clients and change their lives.

Some lessons I’ve learned along the way are that authenticity goes a long way when it comes to business. I show up as myself, give a hundred percent of myself to clients and they know. Another important lesson is it’s not what you know, but who you know. Establishing the right relationships can go a long way when it comes to having a successful business.

I want the world to know that you can still be a successful business, brand, and a professional while being yourself. Don’t be afraid to be different and do different things. Take risks and be open to growth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I like being in DTC or downtown when I’m not working. So I would take them to Eddie V, Ocean Prime, Shanahans, Jing in DTC– or STK, Capital grille in downtown. I also like the highlands so I would take them to El five or Linger for some drinks and good views of the city. If I want more of a laid back atmosphere, I’ll hangout in Cherry creek north and get a drink at Forget me Not. If it’s NBA season, I’ll have court side tickets watching the Nuggets game. If the weather is nice, I’ll hang out at the Four Seasons pool, and grab a drink at the Edge bar at the lobby.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family members, mentors, colleagues, and members of the community in Colorado have been a huge support system and I owe a lot of my success to them
