We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindiley Vargas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cindiley, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I view risk as an essential part of growth and approach it with a mindset of curiosity and calculated optimism. For me, taking risks is about moving beyond my comfort zone and leaning into uncertainty, which has often led to unexpected opportunities, personal growth, and new skills. Throughout my life and career, risk-taking has been pivotal—I’ve taken on challenging projects, pursued roles that pushed my limits, and embraced change, even when the outcome wasn’t guaranteed. Each experience has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the confidence to trust myself in unknown situations. I believe that by taking risks thoughtfully, I open doors to possibilities I wouldn’t otherwise encounter, allowing me to continue evolving on my journey to reach my full potential.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In my work as a victim advocate for domestic violence survivors, a promotional model/brand ambassador, a content creator, a public notary, and a mentor, I’m deeply passionate about helping others in ways that make a tangible impact. I believe what sets me apart is the empathy and authenticity I bring to each role.
As a victim advocate, I support survivors through some of their toughest moments, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered. This work has taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of giving back, which I bring into my other roles.
My journey hasn’t been easy, and balancing these diverse roles has required dedication and adaptability. I had to overcome self-doubt, face the challenges of being in fields that require constant self-improvement, and navigate the nuances of building a personal brand.
Along the way, I’ve learned invaluable lessons: that resilience is built in small steps, authenticity resonates with people, and every experience—even the hardest—has the potential to shape us in meaningful ways.
I’m most proud of the way I’ve created a career that blends purpose with passion. Whether I’m creating content, engaging with a brand, or providing notary services, I aim to inspire others and show that success is about following your passions and making a difference in your community. My story is about building a fulfilling life through dedication, a love for helping others, and a belief that we can always create opportunities to grow. I want everyone to know that THE WORLD IS YOURS and there is absolutely no limit on what you can do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Colorado, I’d want them to experience the perfect mix of natural beauty, local flavor, and city excitement. Here’s how I’d plan the week:
Day 1: Start with breakfast at The Lobby in downtown Denver. We’d then head to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a morning hike and a chance to take in the stunning views. After that, we’d relax and refuel with lunch at The Juicy Seafood, enjoying some fresh and flavorful seafood. In the evening, we’d dive into Denver’s nightlife with a bar-hopping tour downtown.
Day 2: Today’s about the outdoors! We’d take a road trip to Rocky Mountain National Park to explore Bear Lake and the Alberta Falls trail, ending with a scenic drive on Trail Ridge Road if it’s open. We’d have a cozy dinner in nearby Estes Park at The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern and head back to Denver for a night in with movies & snacks.
Day 3: We’d spend the morning getting active with a gym session. After working up an appetite, we’d go to Cinzzetti’s for an Italian buffet-style lunch where we could try a little of everything. In the afternoon, we’d explore Cherry Creek Shopping Center for some retail therapy, ending the day with a nice dinner at El Five, where we’d take in views of the city while enjoying delicious tapas.
Day 4: We’d head to Boulder for the day, starting with brunch at The Buff Restaurant. Then we’d wander along Pearl Street Mall to see the local shops and street performers. For dinner, Blackbelly would give us an unforgettable farm-to-table experience and finish of the day with a possible night hike at Chautauqua park.
Day 5: After all the activity, we’d have a relaxing day at Glenwood Springs hot springs. We’d explore the small town, then have a hearty dinner at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse before heading back for a quiet evening.
Day 6: Back in Denver, we’d explore culture and art, visiting the Denver Art Museum and the RiNo Art District to check out street murals. We’d lunch at Central Market and have dinner at Necios. For a nightcap, we’d stop by Death & Co.
Day 7: We’d wrap up with a sunrise hike at Lookout Mountain and brunch at The Fort in Morrison. A final stop at The Source for souvenirs and one last local coffee would complete the trip.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to give a shoutout to my family—my mom and my two brothers. Their support and encouragement have been the foundation of my journey. My mom has always been my biggest inspiration; her resilience and determination taught me the value of hard work, kindness and indepence. My brothers have been my biggest cheerleaders, constantly encouraging me and pushing me to reach higher. Each of them, in their own way, has influenced who I am and where I am today. I’m incredibly grateful for their love and unwavering support, and they absolutely deserve recognition in my story.

I am deeply grateful for the sacrifices my mother has made to give me a better life. She left her home country, knowing little about the U.S., but determined to create opportunities for me that she never had. Working tirelessly to provide food and a roof over my head, she has always supported my dreams, even when she didn’t fully understand them. Her strength and pride in our roots remind me daily to stay grounded and strive for more. She’s taught me resilience, and I am proud of who I am and where we come from because of her.

My older brother has been a constant source of strength and sacrifice, putting his own dreams aside to support our family. He’s the kindest, toughest, and most optimistic person I know, and I admire him deeply. He inspires me to be strong, kind, and full of love, and he has also shown me how to stand up for myself. Seeing him as a father to my niece and nephew is a beautiful reminder of the amazing, hardworking “father figure” he has always been to us. He ignited my fitness journey, teaching me how to use the gym equipment properly, breathing techniques, and how to push past my limits safely. Even during COVID, he kept us active, leading us on long runs—something I dreaded at the time but am forever grateful for because it rekindled my love for fitness.

My younger brother is one of my biggest motivations. Everything I do now is to pave the way for him, just as my older brother did for me. He has taught me the power of honesty, meditation, and even tough love. His commitment to health inspired me to improve my own habits, from eating better to taking care of myself more intentionally. He’s wise beyond his years, and I admire his drive and forward-thinking. Both of my brothers are incredible; they push me to stay active, stay motivated, and stay on my toes. I feel blessed to have them by my side, each shaping my journey in their own unique way.
