We had the good fortune of connecting with Collin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Collin, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
At Lily & Boothe, we believe community and joy are more important than ever. In a world that often feels disconnected and fast-paced, we create events that bring people together in meaningful ways to celebrate, reflect, support one another, and create lasting memories.

Our work is deeply purpose-driven. Whether we are producing weddings, corporate gatherings, celebrations of life, nonprofit events, or community-focused experiences, we approach every event with the belief that shared experiences have the power to strengthen relationships, foster connection, and make people feel seen and valued.

We also believe events can create ripple effects far beyond a single day. We prioritize thoughtful collaboration with local vendors, small businesses, and creative partners, helping support the communities where we work while creating experiences that feel personal, intentional, and impactful.

At the heart of Lily & Boothe is the idea that joy is not frivolous. It is essential. Bringing people together with purpose, care, and authenticity is how we hope to contribute positively to both our community and the world around us.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At Lily & Boothe, we believe events are about so much more than beautiful details. They are about people, connection, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impact. What sets us apart is the depth of care, intention, and professional experience we bring to every celebration.

My background spans Client experience, communications, operations, and large-scale event management, including my time with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and corporate leadership roles focused on operational excellence and service. Those experiences shaped the way I lead and taught me how to create thoughtful, meaningful experiences that make people feel genuinely cared for.

I also have a deep appreciation for the work itself. Whether we are producing a wedding, corporate gathering, nonprofit event, or celebration of life, we approach every event with the understanding that these moments matter deeply to the people experiencing them.

I did not get where I am today alone. I had incredible leaders and mentors who were willing to take chances on me, encourage me, and help me grow. At the same time, I also had to take a chance on myself. Building a business has not always been easy, but some of the most important lessons I have learned are to listen to feedback, even when it is difficult to hear, stay adaptable, and trust your gut.

What I want people to know about Lily & Boothe is that we care deeply about the experience we create for our Clients and their Guests. We approach every event with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine respect for the significance of the moment, because those details and emotions are what people remember long after the event is over.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If one of my best friends came to visit, I’d want them to experience the parts of Colorado that feel the most special and authentic to me. We would absolutely spend time at Red Rocks, hiking in Boulder, and catching an Avalanche game because the energy in Denver during hockey season is unmatched.

One place I would definitely take them is Neighbors Wine Bar in Park Hill. It’s one of my favorite hidden gems in the city. The atmosphere is incredible, but what makes it truly special are the people. They feel like extended family to me, and it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home.

To me, the best parts of Denver and Colorado are the places and experiences that create connection and community.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are honestly so many people who deserve recognition in my story. First and foremost, my Clients. They trust us with some of the most meaningful moments of their lives, and that is never something I take lightly. So much of Lily & Boothe has been shaped by the incredible people we’ve had the privilege to serve and celebrate alongside.

I would also give a huge shoutout to the vendor and creative partner community. Events are deeply collaborative, and I’ve been fortunate to work with people who are not only talented, but generous, supportive, and committed to creating experiences that truly matter. So many of those relationships have become genuine friendships over the years.

And of course, my family. Building a business requires a tremendous amount of support behind the scenes, and I would not be where I am today without their encouragement, belief, and love. They gave me the confidence to pursue work centered around community, joy, and human connection, which continues to be the heart of Lily & Boothe.
