Meet Cory Clarke | Co-Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cory Clarke and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cory, what is the most important factor behind your success?
At Love Letter Film Co., it’s all about the connections. We’re big on getting to know our clients and vendors because it’s the relationships that make our wedding films special. It’s not just about capturing the day; it’s about telling a love story that’s as unique as the couple themselves. Our laid-back approach to building genuine bonds has helped us create a community where clients and vendors rave about their experiences with us.
We’ve made it a point to connect with other vendors in the wedding industry too. These partnerships are vital because they help us ensure that everything runs smoothly and everyone’s on the same page, making the day perfect for the couple.
Thanks to this approach, we’ve built a strong referral network. Many of our clients and fellow vendors have become our biggest advocates, spreading the word about the great experiences they’ve had with us.

What should our readers know about your business?
Thank you for the opportunity to share our story at Love Letter Film Co. What sets us apart in the wedding videography and photography industry is our commitment to capturing genuine, heartfelt moments. We don’t just document the day; we tell a story, weaving together the emotions, love, and joy that define each couple’s unique journey. Our luxury, award-winning films are crafted with an eye for detail and a deep understanding of the narrative arc, creating a timeless keepsake that couples can treasure forever.
I’m most proud of the way we’ve built our business on the foundation of personal connections and trust. We’re not just service providers; we’re storytellers and confidants, deeply invested in every wedding we capture. This approach has allowed us to create more than just videos and photos; we create experiences that are as unique and personal as the love stories we capture.
Getting to where we are today wasn’t easy. The journey was filled with long hours, steep learning curves, and the constant challenge of staying ahead in a competitive industry. We overcame these challenges by remaining true to our core values: quality, authenticity, and customer experience. We continuously refined our skills, embraced innovation, and most importantly, listened to our clients’ needs and desires.
The lessons we’ve learned along the way are invaluable. One key takeaway is the importance of adaptability. The wedding industry is ever-evolving, and staying flexible has allowed us to meet our client’s changing needs while maintaining our high standards. Another lesson is the power of storytelling. In our business, it’s not just the technical quality of the work that matters but the ability to evoke emotion and capture the essence of the couple’s special day.
What I want the world to know about Love Letter Film Co. is that we are more than a videography and photography company. We are a team of passionate creatives dedicated to celebrating love in all its forms. We believe every love story is unique, and our mission is to capture that uniqueness in the most beautiful, authentic way possible. We’re not just creating wedding films; we’re preserving memories, telling stories, and bringing joy to our clients, and that’s what truly drives us.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If someone were to visit us in Fort Collins we would take them to Horsetooth Reservoir and Lory State Park for hiking and outdoor recreation like paddleboarding and fishing. Some definite food stops would be Choice City, Music City Hot Chicken, Las 4 Americas, The Colorado Room, and the food trucks on College Ave and around town at the local breweries. If they like beer we would hit Mythmaker Brewing and some of the local staples while taking a tour of the town via bike or trail along the Poudre River. A casual stop in Old Town to check out shops, artwork, murals, and most likely stumble across some live music happening somewhere along the way.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Taylor Strope at Mountainside Events supports our brands, and since day one has been a great advocate and associate of Love Letter Film Co. since our launch in early 2022.
