We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynde Denson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cynde, what inspires you?
I am inspired by many things; the beauty of nature, family, animals, music, art and most notably as it relates to my work, our ability as humans to transform our challenges or and hardships so that we can live satisfying and joyful lives.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have had the privilege of blending a 25 + year career in corporate America working for large technology companies in marketing, sales, training and leadership with a long-time practice of meditation and yoga. That combination allows me to relate to the stress my clients face day to day and bring mindfulness-based tools to our work together. At this point in my career, I am most proud that I have leveraged my diverse experience into a balanced life where I enjoy nature, family and am serving those I teach or coach.

My qualifications include a 500-Hour Kripalu Yoga certification, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification after a two-year intensive training, multiple certifications in leadership, productivity, and the DISC system of behavioral styles. In 2012, I graduated from Co-Active® Training Institute’s rigorous life coach training, an International Coaching Federation approved program.

I founded Peace Clarity Purpose, LLC in 2020. Currently I facilitate corporate leadership and productivity programs part-time on a contracting basis. This flexibility allows me to serve others with one-one-on coaching and teaching the contemplative practices that have transformed my life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This one is easy! A dear old friend from the New York Metro area visited us for a long weekend in June. We had a great time, starting our weekend with dinner at the Sherpa House in Golden. We began the next day with coffee on our deck in Conifer, enjoying the long view of Pike’s Peak. Then, we took a hike at the incomparable Staunton State Park, had lunch at Zoka’s Restaurant in Pine and ended our day with an incredible Brit Floyd concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. On Saturday, we topped off our weekend with a drive to Guanella Pass and a final hike along Geneva Creek. Of course, our beloved black lab, Cloey, accompanied us on the hikes!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband, Craig, is unfailing in his support and his ability to lift me up when things feel difficult. I would also like to give a shoutout to all the wonderful teachers I have studied with over the years and to the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA. The programs and teachers at Kripalu have provided me with a “spiritual home” and a source of learning and inspiration for over three decades.
