We had the good fortune of connecting with Dana Willey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dana, what matters most to you?
My highest priority is for my clients to leave our sessions in a better place than they were beforehand. Secondarily, I strive to find ways to spiritually empower my clients. On my website I state, “my intent is to help you find the clarification you seek and to have you leave our time together feeling better connected to yourself and world around you.”
I classify myself as being an ethical and evidential psychic medium. It’s important that what I bring through resonates and can be validated. Being a true voice and ambassador for the Spirit world is my greatest motivation.
This work is not about me, I’m simply the conduit. I will forever feel honored to hold that sacred space for Spirit and my clients.
I also hold these principles in place as a mentor and teacher. I feel honored and humbled to create a safe place for those who want to learn and develop their abilities.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a psychic medium who offers a variety of sessions, mentorship/coaching, development circles and classes. I also co-host 2 podcasts. I love doing live events and have done multiple sold-out events in 2022.
I am not your everyday psychic medium. With a BA in psychology and training as a life coach I bring all of these elements into a session.
My intuitive sessions are unique and structured to letting Spirit drive the flow of our time together. There will be psychic and/or evidential mediumship done in the session. I always work in alignment with Spirit to leave you in a better place than you came in, feeling better empowered and feeling better connected to yourself and the world around you.
I have a passion for educating and working with others in the development of their abilities. I offer a weekly all-level mediumship development circle with medium Mathew Tow. I offer a variety of development classes throughout the year and plan on offering more workshops in the future. I also work to offer free education on platforms such as TikTok through videos and live q and a’s. My new podcast with Mathew Tow, “I’m a Medium! Ask Me How!” is another passion project in hoping to offer free educational resources to developing mediums.
I also have a YouTube channel under Dana Willey – Woo La La where I offer a variety of guided meditations.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I was born and raised here and I love everything Colorado!
The first thing we would do is get Mexican Food! My favorites would either be La Loma or the lunch counter at El Taco De Mexico where they serve the best authentic dishes. This day would include a visit to the Denver Zoo which is one of the best zoos in the nation.
I am a lover of plants and the Denver Botanical Gardens is a fantastic way to enrich that and a great start to another day of exploring Denver. After which we could head to the RiNo district to check out some art and some great food at the Source Market.
If the time of year is right, we would definitely take in a Broncos game at Mile High. Yes, its still “Mile High Stadium”! There is no better way to spend a Sunday in Denver.
I also love Boulder! It’s so beautiful and there is great food everywhere you look. I love going to Chautauqua Park for a hike and hitting the shops and restaurants on Pearl Street. The Dushanbe Tea House for lunch is a must!
One the of the very best things about Denver is its proximity to the mountains. Whether in the winter or the summer, a visit to either Vail or Winter Park is easy to pull off in one day and something that truly sets Denver apart from other cities.
I love Colorado because there is always something amazing to do a short distance away.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Navigating the world as a psychic medium can be isolating and tricky at times. I was pleasantly surprised at how many people showed up to support me.
I want to thank my family and friends for sticking by my side but I want to give an extra special shoutout to my amazing husband Josh and 2 kids for supporting and encouraging me! They are my biggest cheerleaders and I could not do this without their support! My son Logan wrote and performed the intro music for my podcasts and edits every episode. Thank you to my mom, step-dad, grandma and other family members for their love, support and believing in me. Thank you to my business partners for always asking about my spiritual business and encouraging me. Thank you to my soul sister Jessica for believing in me and pushing me to be my authentic self. Thank you to Leeanna Victor for being an amazing friend and podcast partner (Woophoria)! Thank you to Mathew, Hannah, Cody and Kimmie for your friendship. It’s an honor to share a stage and work with readers of your caliber! Mathew Tow, my podcast partner (I’m a Medium! Ask me How!) business partner and best friend…thank you for believing in me and making me laugh every day.
