Meet Dani T | Graphic Designer & Inspirational Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani T and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dani, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
If I would’ve been asked this a year ago today, I wouldn’t have had an answer. The best creativity is nurtured through imagination and clean work space. Since 2016, I’ve been doing 90% of all operations myself, like many others building brands today. Yes, I got things done true, but at what costs to self!? After going through mental and physical breaking points recently, my goal became to simply help other’s practice good mental health by creating artistically healthy spaces to thrive in. InVision-Graphics.art provides fun office and home decor while including apparel options to redesign how you feel, while working on your craft.

Everyone is working day in and day out on something their passionate about while stressing over various things life throws our way. Through YouTube videos, social media and various events, InVision-Graphics, LLC will be able to inspire, motivate and help other’s reach their dreams too.

Naturally I’m one of those “You got this!” kinda people, to anyone bettering their self. Individually, I can be that for a few around me but imagine being able to help 100+ people find peace in self, just by adjusting their favorite place to find inspiration. When you feel good, you feel like anything is possible. It’d be my pleasure to help you achieve that and welcome you to The Visionary Community.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The little things bring me joy, and not forgetting that keeps me grounded in the present. That and I like to draw wisdom from various kinds of places and people to keep my view on the world fresh as a child’s first inspiration. You know it. The one you have or had with all your eggs in it that somebody then tried to shoot down and say was dumb. No idea is dumb in my opinion. Some could use a different pair of eyes or hands to make it work but that just means its a little more complex. That complexity will teach you to delegate and build your team. These are a few things I learn first hand being a business owner taking the biggest risk and living my life in full color by the pen. I’m a free spirit that is open to learning and lean on my support team around me. I had to start my entire business over from scratch this past March and am even current designing all new items. My store’s inventory data had been wiped clean on an error with one of my distributors’ systems. That “loss” was a kick in the rear to get a move on. My dreams were still waiting and I have to see them through. I know I’m corny but its who I am and bringing that flare into helping other be okay with self while I grow too is awesome. There’s nothing wrong with wanting the best for another human being.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
What’s really cool is that I have actually lived in MD for about 17 years and am still learning about different places and people to blend into my daily experiences. My bestie is also a creative thinker type so on a nice sunny day we’d take a morning walk through Graffiti Alley with cameras and sketchbooks for color inspiration. Then of course, go have breakfast over in Reservoir Hill at Dovecote Cafe where I can get a real sense of community and share thoughts with other creatives while there. There are all kinds of sites around for other artist interested or just site seekers that have never been here. The Harbor is popular but really for a more traditional touristy feel. However, I can say its a nice walk around the water, hearing the street music kick and having a cup of Rita’s up on the hill. From the aquarium, to science centers or even The Comedy Factory, Bmore’s got it. After a full day though, my favorite dinner place is for sure Land of Kush. A vegan soul food spot that also delivers when I’m up gaming late. I definitely suggest trying their Kush bbq ribs wrap. Mhm, it is all vegan and yes, its delicious.

In the past year I’ve met a couple of really creative and focused minds that I discuss business topics with still today. One of which is a musician by the name of SoPrpper (IG). We met at one of those bitcoin events of last years trends and hit it off bigger than we thought. She produces beats for my wellness art streams and videos while in return I shout out and tag her social media handles. There are so many different cool individuals that you could come across and end up collaborating with on bigger projects. Check out the right places, vibe with the right ppl and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your experience.

In any place you travel, of course, know where you want to go and/or know someone there before but make a plan worth the trip wherever you go.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When it comes to my inner circle, ( my family, girlfriend and closest friends), I make it a point to reach out and thank each person individually for teaching, supporting and watching out for me throughout the year(s). My family has encouraged me since childhood (5ish) to pursue art while challenging the way I view the world around me. My brilliant girlfriend, who had too graduated as an art major, has shown me different fundamental techniques to bring a new sense of life back into my art and design. Which was also a good way of helping me out of a dark head space that I was in for a little bit. Now my art feels at peace again and my friends cheer me on while reminding me to rest. They even sometimes invite me places to check on my mental state. I appreciate each and everyone of you and give thanks each day.
