We had the good fortune of connecting with David Bernstein and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Success is a simple formula for me: finding purpose in what we do, how we do it, and why. This is the purest form of creative expression and value creation. Coming from an analytical oriented background in RE finance and investment, my standard operating procedure would be to forecast, underwrite and evaluate the efficacy of any business decision or idea. However, when I first began visioning and constructing the offering that eventually became Life Force, I focused almost entirely on the “why”. Why was my business model an important service to my community? Why was I inspired to create this particular business? This became my ethos and north star throughout the life span of my business. During all the years of re-evaluating the “success” of Life Force, relative to its financial gain, its growth, and the ascertainment of various metrics that the business world holds to be important, I always found clarity and guidance in returning to my “why”. A company can grow in a number of ways, but to remain authentic and relevant, we must constantly return to the meaning and purpose behind what we do!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Today’s business landscape has, and must continue to shift towards inclusive, regenerative, and balanced enterprise. Life Force Project always focused on these values. Our lens as a global wellness production company has been centered on connecting people with one another, with beautiful environments, and most importantly with our unique inner nature and faculties of wellbeing. Now, more than ever, we are called to connect communities, amplify the Planet’s cry for environmental awareness and action, and support the journey of our fellow humans to find balance and thrive. In 2021 and beyond we are excited to amplify our offering through an exploration into deep ecology and the transformational power of nature. Keep an eye out for certifications in nature awareness, mindfulness. and even yoga teacher trainings in this space.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wow..I wholly attribute any successes I have to an eco-system of experiences, people, books, and life lessons. With that said- I would love to give a special shout out to the following people for their support in the initial, inspirational steps that set me on a trajectory for success: Noah Bernstein (brother) Sarah Bernstein (sister) Robin Watson (mom) Trevor Traynor (homie and collaborator) Brady Wilson (homie and collaborator) Robert Wood (teacher) Judson Newmyer (business partner) Ryan Davis ( homie and collaborator) Phillip Wolf (homie) Becky Wicks (creative collaborator) Chris Kieck (creative collaborator) Zoe Kimberly (homie and collaborator) John Yochanan Russell ( teacher and collaborator)
