We had the good fortune of connecting with Dinnia Quiros Vega and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dinnia, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
After losing my job, in the middle of the pandemic, I spent many days at home, thinking about how to make money. I tried to make cakes, I managed to sell 3 but I felt that it was not my passion, until one day on my way home, talking to my husband, he suggested that I go back to what I had studied, photography, at first I was afraid but I decided to give it a try. It was the best decision I have ever made in my life.
I started taking photos of my daughter and my friends and when I realized it I already had many clients and my business kept growing

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is that when I take pictures I try to capture the person’s soul and personality in every picture. I try to get to know people in a deeper way to create a connection and to be able to reveal their inner beauty.

It wasn’t difficult for me to start because I don’t see photography as a job, photography is my passion and it allows me to meet incredible people who often end up being my friends.

Along the way I have learned that I must train and continue learning new techniques because in photography everything changes very quickly, I always try to innovate.

I would like you to know that my company was created to bring joy to people through my images and build priceless memories that will last throughout time. I am grateful for the opportunity that Colorado has given me to fulfill my dreams.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Colorado has many beautiful places. But I would start by taking them to the top of Pikes Peak, a place that they could not miss during their stay. A walk through Manitou Springs and old Colorado is a must, and you should stop for coffee at Jives Coffee Lounge.
There is no way to come to Colorado Springs and not go to Garden of the Gods, you definitely have to be there, walking by some of the park’s trails, and it would be ideal if you can be there at sunset.
Taking a tour at the Broadmoor Hotel would be great to learn about the history of Colorado Springs , at the hotel they should visit the Pikes Peak Race museum.
For dinner they should visit one of the many breweries that Colorado has to offer.
El taco y la arepa is a great place to eat in family , nice and quite to enjoy delicious Mexican and Venezuelan Food
If you have little ones in the family, I am sure they will love to visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Many people have come along in this journey who have supported me but my family have been the biggest supporters My husband Marcelino gave me the idea, he always believed in me and made me gain confidence, also my daughter Melanie was my model and she helped me to have beautiful pictures to show the public. Finally my mentor Fernando Peña had the patience to go back and teach me some stuff I had forgotten
