Meet Evelyn Grae | Fitness Influencer & Self Care advocate

We had the good fortune of connecting with Evelyn Grae and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Evelyn, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I grew up in an unstable environment—bouncing between foster care and a single-mother home, experiencing poverty and even homelessness at times. I knew from a young age that I wanted to break that cycle and create a better life for myself. I didn’t have a clear roadmap, so I tried everything—e-commerce, drop shipping, Amazon FBA—hoping to find my way. While those didn’t work out, each experience taught me something valuable.
Eventually, I discovered marketing and content creation, where I could use my creativity and personality to build something meaningful. Now, I’m focused on growing my personal brand as an influencer, helping others through my journey, and expanding into business ventures like fitness and clothing. My goal is to not just build a brand but create something that inspires and empowers others to push past their circumstances and chase their dreams.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is all about building a personal brand that combines fitness, self-care, and entrepreneurship. What sets me apart is my authenticity and my passion for encouraging others to shoot for the stars and follow their dreams, no matter where they start. I believe that no experience, obstacle, or setback should ever hold you back. I’m most excited about expanding my brand with a book and a size-inclusive clothing line that empowers people to feel confident and proud of who they are at any stage of their journey.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. I tried many different ventures—e-commerce, drop shipping, Amazon FBA—but nothing felt right until I focused on creating content that was true to who I am. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that your past doesn’t define your future. Every failure and every challenge taught me something that brought me closer to my true purpose. Consistency, adaptability, and self-belief are the keys to success.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that it’s more than fitness or business—it’s about empowering people to keep going, no matter the obstacles they face. I want to inspire others to take risks, trust in themselves, and not let anyone or anything hold them back from pursuing their dreams. In the future, I hope to further inspire through my book and clothing line—both of which will be designed to make people feel confident, accepted, and ready to take on the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Denver, I’d definitely take them to some of my favorite spots! First, we’d grab breakfast at First Watch for a delicious and healthy start to the day. Then, we’d head to Red Rocks Amphitheatre—it’s not just for concerts but an amazing spot for a walk and beautiful views. Afterward, we could visit Red Rocks Church for a peaceful, uplifting experience.
For outdoor fun, we’d hike at Chautauqua Park in Boulder or explore the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Both spots offer incredible scenery and a great way to connect with nature. After a morning hike, we’d grab lunch at Qdoba for a healthy, customizable meal.
We’d also check out Sloan’s Lake Park for a relaxing lakeside walk, head to Cherry Creek Reservoir to unwind, and visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for some animal encounters and scenic views. For some shopping, we’d head over to Park Meadows Mall, which has a great variety of stores and dining options.
For food, we’d make sure to stop by Venalonzos Tacos for some delicious, flavorful tacos. And I’d take them to True Food Kitchen, where I style the dishes for a fresh, wholesome experience. To wrap up the day, we’d visit the Denver Botanic Gardens for a peaceful and inspiring time in nature.
This mix of hiking, good food, scenic spots, and fun activities would definitely give us a memorable Denver experience!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my husband. At just 24, he was diagnosed with Type 1.5 diabetes, a rare condition, and had to undergo a splenectomy, pancreatectomy, and cholecystectomy. Watching him navigate this challenging journey with strength and resilience has deeply inspired me. His experience is part of what motivated me to start my fitness journey, and I share it online because I know there are others out there who feel alone or face their own struggles. I want them to see that they’re not alone—that no matter what challenges we face, we can keep pushing forward together.
