We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriele and Daniel Cuchiara and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabriele and Daniel, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk is not something we are shy about. There has been quite a few opportunities that we declined which could have propelled us forward as Massage Therapists – but deciding to put out efforts into our own dreams/passions has been a beautiful risk that we are taking for ourselves. It’s been fun to see how much we are growing by taking the steps to simplify our lives and business by centering our focus on the holistic healing of ourselves and others! Looking back we have no regrets in the risks that we have taken towards freedom in running a business that we are proud of. We will continue to be risk takers to further ourselves and our business!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We have purposely committed our business to the holistic healing of the body – which means attending to body/mind/soul. While we can’t directly “touch” the mind or soul, we’ve learned that healing through the physical body opens up the pathways for people to heal themselves. We are trained in Neuromuscular Therapy, which deals largely with connecting the body back to the brain and Central Nervous System. This has proven to be absolutely huge for our clients who have dealt with physical/emotional trauma. The brain/body connection is one of the first things to be severed in cases like these. What sets us apart is that we are centered on specifically restoring this connection! Being in the industry of healing has been so rewarding but definitely comes with it’s set of challenges. Healing is a uphill battle and we don’t always have all the answers – but we do have the ability to get people back on their feet so they have a fighting chance at pursuing deeper growth. This is our heart for people, and our contribution towards the holistic healing that we’ve become so passionate about!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We live in the downtown area, which we absolutely LOVE. Here are some of our favorite places:

To unwind, we really enjoy SunWater Spa in Manitou Springs – they have some amazing mineral water tubs and pools and a dreamy atmosphere. When we get hungry, Dos Santos on Tejon St. is a must. You can’t go wrong with tacos and margaritas! When we want a staycation, we always look towards Kinship Landing in downtown Springs. They provide such a unique and wonderful staying experience, unlike any hotel. Not to mention it’s just a great place to go grab a cup of coffee and some food at! For a night out, we highly recommended The Garden, just two doors down from Kinship Landing! The owner, Julie, has created such an amazing outdoor local beer garden that we cannot get enough of! It’s such a fun place to bring friends and family, and even your pup!

These are just a couple of the amazing places that our downtown has to offer.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would LOVE to shoutout our amazing educational experience at Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (CIMT). They not only supported us as students, but took the time to invest completely into our personal growth. They were the most inspiring therapists we have come across in this field!

Other: We are currently rebranding! If we could get all these things back to you, we’d love to be able to have these links on here.
