Meet Galadriel Sardonicus

We had the good fortune of connecting with Galadriel Sardonicus and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Galadriel, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
The end goal for me is to create a legacy of healing, empowerment, and authentic connection. As a mother, healer, and musician, I see my work as deeply intertwined with my role as a caregiver—not just to my child, but to myself and my greater community. Being a mom has profoundly shaped my purpose, giving me the tools to stay connected and grounded, much like Mother Nature herself. It’s taught me the importance of nurturing, integration, and balance, all of which I aim to embody in my personal and professional life.
Through my music, such as my album Remedy, and my work as an integrative wellness practitioner, I create experiences that foster healing by connecting the body, mind, and soul. Music, dance, and affirmations have been central to my mission of helping others “cut their chains and fly like birds,” discovering freedom and harmony within themselves and their relationships.
By the end of my career, I envision a thriving global platform that bridges my roles as a healer, artist, and mother. This platform will provide accessible tools and resources that empower individuals to embrace self-love, freedom, and connection—whether through workshops, performances, or digital offerings.
Ultimately, success for me isn’t just about professional milestones but about the lives I’ve touched and the healing I’ve inspired. My dream is to leave behind a legacy that uplifts others, empowering them to live with authenticity, joy, and purpose.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is an expression of healing and connection, weaving together music, movement, and wellness practices to empower and uplift others. At its core, my work is about helping people integrate their body, mind, and soul—whether through the songs I create, the affirmations I share, or the healing sessions I facilitate. Music is a particularly powerful part of my art. My album Remedy reflects themes of freedom, self-preservation, empowerment, and harmony between individuality and connection. It’s music that invites listeners to cut the chains holding them back and soar into their fullest, most authentic selves.
What sets my work apart is its integrative nature. I don’t just make music or practice healing—I combine these elements to create transformative experiences. Dance, affirmations, therapeutic touch, and my own original music come together to inspire healing on every level. I’m most proud of how my art creates space for people to reconnect with themselves and the world around them. Whether it’s someone finding freedom through dance, embracing self-love through affirmations, or resonating with the lyrics of a song, it’s deeply fulfilling to see the impact my work has on others.
Getting to where I am today professionally wasn’t easy. I’ve faced many challenges, from financial instability to moments of self-doubt and uncertainty about the path I was carving for myself. I’ve had to learn to trust my inner voice, honor my boundaries, and lean into the process of growth. The most important lesson I’ve learned is that healing and success are not linear—they’re cyclical, evolving as we grow. I’ve also learned to embrace challenges as opportunities to deepen my understanding of myself and my purpose.
One of the biggest lessons came through integrating motherhood into my journey. Becoming a mom taught me the value of nurturing myself and others. It deepened my connection to Mother Nature and reminded me that we are all caregivers—not only for our families but for our communities and the planet.
What I want the world to know about my story and brand is that my work is about more than just art or healing—it’s about creating a legacy of empowerment, freedom, and connection. Through my music, my wellness practice, and my personal journey, I aim to inspire others to live authentically, embrace their wholeness, and find joy in the process of becoming.
To anyone pursuing their own path, I’d say this: trust your journey, even when it feels uncertain. Every step—every success, every challenge—is part of creating something meaningful. My story is one of weaving together my passions, experiences, and teachings into a life and career that reflects who I truly am. I hope it inspires others to do the same.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Nederland, CO, I’d be so excited to share all the magic this little mountain town has to offer. Here’s how I’d plan a week with them:
Day 1: Arrival and Creekside Reset
We’d kick things off with a walk along the creek to one of my favorite spots, where we’d do a cold plunge (it’s so refreshing!) and just soak up the peacefulness of the forest. There’s something about the sound of running water and sunshine filtering through the trees that instantly resets your soul. From there, we’d follow the creek path downtown to check out Barker Reservoir before grabbing dinner at Crosscut Pizzeria & Taphouse—their wood-fired pizza is always a hit. If there’s a show at The Caribou Room that night, we’d definitely catch it.
Day 2: Sunrise Picnic and Small-Town Charm
We’d start the day slow, making breakfast together at home, then head out for a hike up Caribou Hill. At the top, we’d have a little picnic, taking in the views and just letting the fresh mountain air work its magic. After coming back down, we’d wander around downtown Nederland and visit the Carousel of Happiness. It’s such a unique, joyful little gem—I think everyone should experience it at least once.
Day 3: Lakes, Mountains, and Music
We’d start the morning with breakfast and coffee at Salto Coffee Works, then head out for a hike to Rainbow Lakes. It’s one of my favorite spots—peaceful, with stunning alpine views that make you feel like you’re in another world. In the evening, we’d drive over to Gold Hill to catch a show and soak up the old mining-town vibes. For dinner, we’d stop by Kathmandu Restaurant for some amazing Nepalese and Indian food.
Day 4: Day Trip to Boulder
We’d head down to Boulder for the day to mix things up. Lunch would be at Zeal, where everything is fresh and vibrant. Then we’d do a quick hike at Settler’s Park and spend some time by the creek at the base of the canyon—it’s such a peaceful spot. After that, we’d head back up to Nederland for a quiet, relaxing evening.
Day 5: Nature and Local Spots
We’d start the morning with another creek walk and cold plunge (it’s such a great way to wake up!) or maybe a bike ride to Eldora, a cute little historic town nearby. Then we’d make breakfast together before heading out to visit the Wild Bear Nature Center, which is always inspiring. Later, we’d take a stroll around Barker Reservoir or Mud Lake—both are perfect for unwinding and taking in the beauty of the area.
Day 6: Hiking and Home Vibes
In the morning, we’d hike at Caribou Ranch, one of the most beautiful trails around with so much history and incredible views. Later, we’d stop by Knotted Root Brewery or Howling Wind Brewery to enjoy a local beer and maybe catch some live music. Then we’d head back to my place, relax in the hot tub, play some music, and make dinner together. It’d be a perfect mix of fun and downtime.
Day 7: Farewell Adventure
On the last day, we’d have one final adventure—maybe cross-country skiing, sledding, or another hike. Breakfast would be at Mountain Peak Cafe, a cozy little spot that’s perfect for fueling up before saying goodbye.
Nederland is such a special place, and this itinerary is really about sharing all the things I love most: the connection to nature, the creative community, and the peaceful rhythm of life up here in the mountains.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many individuals, experiences, and teachings that have guided my journey, and I’m honored to dedicate this shoutout to them. First, I want to acknowledge my parents, who raised me with a holistic and conscious philosophy that honors the innate intelligence of the body to heal and thrive. Their approach to life provided the foundation for my work, and I’m especially grateful to my dad for his unwavering support in pursuing music as a vital addition to my healing practice. His encouragement has helped me see music not just as an art form, but as a transformative tool for integrating body, mind, and soul.
My five siblings also deserve recognition—they inspire me with the ways they lead holistically healthy lives, deeply connected to themselves and the world around them. Their example has been a grounding force in my life and work.
I’m incredibly grateful to my dear friend and mentor Jacob Devaney, whose sacred clown medicine taught me the value of humor, play, and compassion as pathways to healing. Neil Pinholster, a biodynamic cranio-sacral practitioner, and my teachers at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies, where I became licensed in 12 modalities of therapeutic massage and bodywork, provided me with tools to turn my philosophy into action. Prescott College was also instrumental in shaping my path—it’s where I earned my yoga teacher’s certification, and I studied transformative dance, natural history, herbalism, and earth-based skills that have deeply informed my work.
I’d also like to thank the Chinese herbalist I apprenticed with in high school, as well as the Ayurvedic doctor I studied with in India, whose teachings in herbalism and medicine enriched my understanding of healing traditions. My training as an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner further expanded my ability to help clients work through emotional blocks, blending practical and spiritual methods in my practice.
The authors and books that have guided my philosophy have also been pivotal. Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life taught me the power of affirmations and self-love, while Tara Brach’s Radical Acceptance helped me cultivate compassion and presence. Tami Lynn Kent’s Wild Feminine and Susun Weed’s Healing Wise inspired me to honor the sacred wisdom of the body and the gifts of nature. Kenneth Cohen’s Honoring the Medicine and Peter Bigfoot’s teachings deepened my connection to indigenous traditions and the healing power of the earth, while Ram Dass’s Be Here Now encouraged me to embrace the present moment. Books like The Tao of Nutrition and Metaphysical Fitness showed me how to integrate nourishment and spiritual practice into joyful, holistic living.
I also want to give a major shoutout to all of my clients over the years. Each of them has inspired and motivated me to put my philosophy into action and has taught me so much about resilience, vulnerability, and healing. To all the people I’ve played music with and created music alongside, thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and encouraging me to dive deeply into singing as an essential part of my journey. Music, particularly my album Remedy, has become a powerful medium for healing—uniting body, mind, and soul in ways that words cannot.
This journey has been a tapestry of inspiration, and I carry the wisdom of these relationships, experiences, and teachings in all that I do. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who has been part of this path—they are the heartbeat of my work.
