Hi Gemma, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I like to maintain a consistent level of productivity and take both my successes and failures in my stride. I learn from both and apply that knowledge to future situations. For me, success is having a strong team that collectively works together and achieves. I want to be recognized as someone who always does her best and tries her hardest to achieve her goals personally and as a team. I tend to view success incrementally. As someone who is invigorated by new challenges, I never want to find myself in a situation where I feel as if there is nothing left to learn or achieve. I can leave work each evening satisfied that ive learned something new or useful, this counts as success to me.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Director of Marketing and Communications at Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners, responsible for providing guidance to local dental offices by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company’s brands. I also specialize in organizing industry conferences, trade shows, health fairs and major events whist identifying company social media marketing strategies and content marketing. I have successfully accomplished 19 years in the Sales and Marketing Industry within the business and hospitality sector, in both the United Kingdom and United States, for companies ranging from 5* hotels to leading restaurant and healthcare facilities. Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners is a growing national dental support organization (DSO) founded on the principle that high quality dental care requires a three-way partnership between the patient, the dentist and their support organization. We make up 230+ dental practices in Colorado, Texas, Pennsylvania, and 15 other states nationwide. What sets us apart as an organization, is as an effective DSO, we enable the dental team to focus all their attention on their patients while taking responsibility for all of the practices’ non-clinical activities. These services include billing, collections, scheduling, clinical data analytics, group purchasing, marketing and assisting each practice in recruiting dental professionals. As a regional Company, Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners will be more responsive than national DSO’s to the unique local needs of each practice. Our Dental Partners will have a strong hand in building our partnership and its culture. We want our Dental Partners to be active in creating and executing our business strategy. We expect to regularly meet with our practice leaders to solicit input to improve the patient experience, determine what are the future needs of the practices and how to more effectively compete in the local marketplace. We believe that our Dental Partners will be the Company’s best assets to attract new Dental Partners to the Company. I am proud that Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners is also committed to assuring each dentist clinical autonomy, while improving the lifestyle of its dental partners and their staffs in a safe environment.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Outside of work, myself and my family enjoy a variety of hiking spots throughout Colorado which include the iconic backdrops, to include Rocky Mountain National Park, Garden of the Gods, Boulder, open space and White River National Forest. We also enjoy visiting new and hidden breathtaking destinations in Vail, Aspen, Estates Park, Breckenridge and Crested Butte.
